Which one did you buy? The only one that should be available for Kobo is the first one (Stone and a Hard Place), so if you picked up #2 or #3 from there, please let me know.
In any case, thanks for the purchase and I hope you enjoy it whenever you get to it.
For those who might be interested, all three of my current novels are available for 99 cents each for the Black Friday - Cyber Monday weekend. Book 4 comes out in December, so if you might want to catch up, this is a good time!
Book 4, THE SOURCE, is available for preorder at Amazon. If you’ve read the others (especially books 2 and 3), this one is the conclusion of a trilogy within the series. The story is self contained, but reading the first two is recommended for maximum enjoyment. The first two in the series have received several five-star reviews and have both been awarded Awesome Indies’ Seal of Excellence.
I’ve had a full redesign done on my website at rlkingwriting.com, and I’m taking signups for my new mailing list. Everyone who signs up gets two free books: #1 in the series (Stone and a Hard Place), and an exclusive novella available only to subscribers. If you thought you might like to give the series a try, this is a great way to go.
Haha, thanks! Hope you enjoy it. Book 8 is definitely a standalone. All the rest of them are self-contained novels but it helps if you read them in order. 8 can be read at any point.
Somehow I missed this. I’m pretty picky about my fantasy, but I’m liking some urban fantasy these days. That, and the reviews by some people I respect and I downloaded book 1 today (lord knows I need a distraction these days!).
