My s.o.'s ex-wife

Good explanation, Spidey…

Let me rehash one thing. Unless Minnesota has some very strange banking laws the ex’s name is still on the account. A person cannot remove someone else from a joint account. You can drop yourself, you can close the account, and you can remove all of the accounts assets and place them into a personal account, but you cannot remove someone else from a joint account.

A little more research is in order.

Again, good luck.
SouthernStyle

No. . . She is a SMART, spoiled, controlling psycho bitch.

He may love his children very much, but he is a stupid fuckin’ pussy! Good hell, can this guy wipe his ass alone or does someone have to help him with that as well? Maybe we can make a list of asswiping proceedures so that he may learn how from this thread.

If he truly is as stupid and wimpy as you imply, I certainly don’t feel the least bit sorry for him (or for you for putting up with this loser). If he lays down at her feet and asks to be stomped on, he deserves what he gets.

From what I have read of your other posts, you appear to be a nice, intelligent person, I guess I am just having a hard time understanding how or why anyone would put up with such a pussy who is obviously stuck on the ex-wife’s tit.

you asked.

My stance on my son’s hair: When he was little and didn’t voice an opion, I’d take him to the barber and get him “a little boy’s haircut”. When he was six, he had a friend who had “lines” cut in on the side, and Ben decided it looked cool, and said “can I get those, too?” sure. So, next time he got his hair cut, he got two “lines” cut in. right above his ears. they were about 3 inches long and about 1/4 inch wide with about an inch in between. this was in 1990. The “lines” were made when the barber used a trimmer to trim the hair to almost nothing. When my ex returned with Ben that weekend he said “why did you get his hair cut like that?” I replied “cause he wanted it that way”. His answer was “well, you are NOT to get his hair cut like a(racial term here) again, I’ll take you to court!” I said “Please, pretty please, do”.

For quite a while (from 1986 - about 1988 or so), Ben’s dad would have his mom (Ben’s grandma) cut Ben’s hair. They left a “tail” (that was in fashion at the time). I didn’t care. Currently, of course, my son (now 16), has gone the gamut from having hair half way down his back, to almost shaved, to blue, green, yellow, half bleached with roots, pink, red, maroon.

I think that his dad actually asked an attorney about the hair thing and was told that if he wanted to go to the judge on that, he was on his own.

SouthernStyle - Good point. I find it a little suspect that he claims to have removed her from the account. I have doubts that this could actually be done considering the bag of worms it would open for banks.

Get pissed at your partner? Take them off the bank account. Kiss and make up? Put them back on. I would be surprised if this is possible in any State. When I divorced, we had to close our joint account and open new accounts in our own names.

Spider - Were you at the bank with him? If not, my guess is that he fed you a line of bullshit.

I believe Bob had the account taken care of this time; I’ll know for sure when his statement comes here next month in his name only instead of going to her house with both of their names on it.

Meanwhile, he has been using that money to help us get this house prepared for winter. He fixed a leak in the roof himself with aluminum flashing and caulk (a driving rain will tell him if his experiment worked), he put plastics up over the windows, and had the furnace cleaned and lubricated Tuesday, so I am less worried that the place will fall apart around our ears.

Time will tell how things will go with the ex. This Friday he is working second shift, and I will be picking the kids up myself. I have told him to arrange this so I can pick them up before she arrives home from work, but there may be snafus. Wish me luck; I am such a wuss.

Thanks again for your input, and to everyone who replied to this thread.

This is more an MPSIMS remark that a PIT flame, but here goes…

Isn’t the correct expression, “I’m such a putz”? :wally

Oh, well. Good Luck, Wuss!
