I was a little tired, so I stayed home and cleaned. Dogs and cats live like animals.
Ta. I’m in my jammies and waiting for The Daily Show. Tomorrow will be better (and today wasn’t bad, it was just sooo busy and loooong).

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Looks like the night shift took a night off. I’m up and caffienatin’ here. I went to sleep last night right after watchin’ My Name Is Earl and slept good! Thus I am up and caffienatin’ a little earlier than usual.
Plus, it’s FIRDAY!!! YAY!!!

Yeah, I slept pretty well, too. We’ve got two lunches today so I’m going in a little bit later than usual. The pups are going to get groomed today. When they are done I’ll pick them up and transport them home. Then, I’ll finally make it to TVLand.
Am miserably sick. Mr. Lissar is staying home to take care of me and Nat.

I have been chasing tutors around this morning, so far I’ve tracked down all but two of them so things are going quite well so far. Busy day though, and only a week to go before project reservation deadline too.
This weekend is going to involve lots of cooking for me, it’s time to make the hexmas cake and I plan to get some sweet mincemeat made too.

It’s always so quiet on my working Friday… My cube neighbor has today off, thank Og. He asks so many questions! Which he’s supposed to do, but still - it gets on my nerves sometimes! I’m glad for the break. Maybe I’ll get some work done.
I woke up with reflux around 3:30 this morning. That’ll teach me to eat Cheetos so late at night. My stomach still feels bloated and icky.
But it’s Firday!!! And it’s gonna be beautiful today!

I took a 1 AM ambulance call. Got back home 3ish, and I shut off the alarm clock before I went back to bed. Firday sucks when it starts 2 hours late…

It’s a good Friday morning here. I’ve got 1 load of laundry washed and on drying racks and a second in the washer (to be dried at lunch time) and I went to the gym. Boss is out all day and Manager’s out at noon. And we’re getting our last two new blinds installed today! Yay!

I see that the latest crop of wireless CSCs are managing to put my generation to shame, which is saying a lot, because the class I trained with back in the day were a bunch of slack-jawed dumbasses. On the bright side, I bet you’ll have plenty of entertaining calls to listen to once you’re doing QA.

I was about to ask you how bad the churn rate was like there.
Before we built a system to automate creation of user IDs for bank tellers, I’d see a lot of “User left at lunch and didn’t come back” or variations on how they simply never showed up on their first day in ID delete requests.
Oh no! Oh woe! Long-time radio personality Dave Morey is leaving KFOG after 26 years and he’s moving to Michigan. I’m sure you’re all like “Who?” but Dave is an icon around here - 26 years with one company is remarkable in its own right, but it’s even more so in radio.
Meanwhile, my back has been *killing *me - apparently, muscles around my lumbar region are locked up and nerves are getting crunched between bones. It’s been like this for a week. My chiropractor says the bones are all in the right alignments - just too close together. If this goes on much longer, I may have to go see my regular doctor and have him turf me over to an orthopod or whoever can slip a little lidocaine into the trigger points.
