Name my new finches!

Or name the other after a member of Finch?

Do you find they make the same noise as the little cheepers in the “For the Birds” short that was on the Monsters Inc (or maybe Finding Nemo) DVD?
My mum has a bunch of finches and found it a bit bizarre to hear the EXACT same sound coming from her aviary.

Hugin and Munin? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huginn_and_Muninn

Sincel they are white and (mostly) grey, how about cloud and, um, fog.

If they’re nasty-tempered you could name them Qusay & Uday. That’s what we’ve (re-)named our neighbor’s dogs. We used to call them Mao & Stalin until we recognized they were even more psychotic than those namesakes.

Yin & Yang, Beer & Nutz, Sodom & Gomorrah, Archie & Veronica, Fred & Barney; the list is just endless.

Name one of them Darwin. I dunno what you’d call the other one.

I saw the one in the foreground, and immediately thought of “Cheeky.”

As for the other, how about “Grinch?”

Well, I came in to say my choice was going to be Jem and Scout (thanks to **Marlitharn ** and Girfenrina!) but I just can’t resist the entries from today, sooo…

I’d like to annouce Darwin and Cheeky!
They are soon-to-be parents, as I saw an egg in their nest this morning. They work fast; I’ve only had them 6 days!

In about a month, you can submit names for the babies!

“Eagle food” and “Snake food.”

I kid, I kid.

Cool, I’m in the lead. Peek and poke were those commands I never mastered.

Betty & Veronica

Fred & Barney

Lucy & Ethel

Batman & Robin (hee hee … give one a real identity crisis).

Dumb & Dumber

as two others have pointed out, Darwin is an ideal Finch name.
