NBC's Community is Doomed - Moved to Fridays Following the Execreble Whitney

Chevy Chase is leaving the show, although they’ve already filmed eleven of the thirteen episodes of the fourth season with him.

I’ll miss Pierce, but not Chevy Chase.

Pretty much sums up how I feel. (Although the storyline for Pierce has been pretty bad lately.)

Trashing the show you’re on in public always indicates serious jerk mentality. Fans, producers, networks hate that. It’s a major career mistake.

I kind of like Whitney. It’s one of the few shows that my wife and I both kind of like together.

The season premiere, however, stunk.

I’m glad they seem to have realized that Jacobs is the sexy one. :stuck_out_tongue:

“I’m not comfortable standing around in my altogether like you two anorexic Jezebels!”

Such sarcasm, but as I understand it, he really does deserve some sympathy on that particular point. Chevy Chase didn’t call anyone a “nigger”; he complained that his character was being made more and more racist, and that soon, his character would be calling people "nigger"s. He was expressing his concern over the direction of the writing for his character. So, sure, he may be belligerent and tactless, but the portrayal of him as racist in this incident seems to be sensationalist and undeserved.

You don’t have to be racist to be an asshole.

October 19th is almost here. It’s already October 19th in my heart. But soon it will actually be here for all to see.

A taste.

Chevy left the show? No wonder he needed to do those Old Navy commercials.

I’ve warmed up to Whitney. I have been watching it and the show that follows and then switching to ABC for Modern Family.

I don’t have cable so it’s broadcast only around my house.

I forget - When is October 19th last year?

October 19th is tomorrow! Be there…

Six seasons and a movie!
