I’m a 2008 graduate of Northwestern University, and now working in Chicago at a non-profit. Been a reader of the Chicago Reader for years (I love it), and one of my friends suggested this very forum to me. Looks very progressive from just browsing it a bit; love it.

I personally managed to dodge the official welcome but I have done my share of lurking in corridors so if someone approaches you with a goat and a snorkel, RUN.
As far as the board itself goes it’s a bit of an eclectic mix of people and views from all over the place, so it’s definitely not boring.
Ok, sometimes it is but then someone starts a poll. Or puts up a pic of their cat.

It’s my personal belief that the squid took a liking to the bride and tried to follow the couple on their honeymoon. Unfortunately, it failed to take a left at Albuquerque.
