Why?
Because I’m betting that if she found the note, she’d be out the door after (possibly, depending on how delusional she is) cleaning you out of as much stuff as she thought she could get away with because she thinks you won’t miss it.
And I’m also betting that opening that drawer is the first thing she does as soon as she walks into the unoccupied house, too.
So if you want her there for you to deliver the lecture to, don’t use the note. And make sure you review the evidence the camera catches beforehand, or you may find yourself in the sticky situation of making accusations without proof.

It’s bad enough they’re tearing up the street in front of my house, but then to add surprise window cleaning guys? I confess that his is the first I have opened the MMP, and I have read nothing. Happy belated birthday to swampy, and since I could hardly miss the best wishes to VBob it must be yours, so very happy birthday wishes to you too.
I have an issue, and who better to get an opinion poll from than the MMPers? Here is a peek into my personal world. (No TMI, I promise.) No, wait, come back! lol!
First, here is my dirty little secret which must be revealed before I continue. I love my little home that I own and can do whatever decorating/remodeling to, but the fact is, my little home is a mobile home. A trailer. It’s in a very small “park”, and while not everyone keeps their outdoor area prettified, the neighbors are all okay, and as I said, I own it, and it’s comfy. (I may not be first class, but I ain’t white trash, m’kay?) 
So, the bit I need opinions on is this: I love skiffman, and I even married him, twice. However, we have very different views on things like privacy and respecting personal space and belongings, etc. We separated this spring, and as he is out fishing anyway it hasn’t been much of a difference. The end of the season is approaching though, and I need to make a decision. I really don’t want to leave him, I am in love with him, but I need some space.
Well right next door is another really cute mobile home, which is up for sale. We are friends with the owner and we have made it clear that we would like to purchase it. Moses would live there, and the kids and I would stay here, which would give me my space, and he would have a place to put all of his stuff and we would have a grown up place to spend time together. Time to talk, hell, time to ‘appreciate’ each other without the kids and the rest of the world bustin’ in on us.
My question is, can two people who are completely committed to each other not live together and sustain the relationship? Thanks MMPers, I really need some other views on this.

The poetry game in Cafe Society’s really fun. We played that game in the car on a 24-hour straight driving trip.
We’re trying to nail the kid into bed. He napped (he thinks it was a nap) from five-thirty to six, and now he won’t go to sleep.
Sure, why not. Everyone’s relationship and need for space is different. I’ve recently been told that my personal space rivals the Yukon Territory, so that kind of setup sounds rather intriguing to me.
kai that sounds like a workable arrangement to me. Y’all are right next door to each other so Skiffman would be around for the kids and to help out with whatever things he helps out with on the home front. If he’s happy and you’re happy then sounds good to me! Plus if down the road you both decide you’d be happier living in the same place, you can either rent out or sell the other place.
Dang I’m tahred! I am seriously considerin’ packin’ it in for the night and watchin’ teevee whilst laid up in bed til I’m ready to fall asleep which might not be too long from now.
Plus, still no big storms like we were promised. GRRRRRRRR
**kai ** - the way I see it, as long as the 2 of you agree on the arrangement and it works for you, then it doesn’t much matter what anyone else thinks, right? And you know we all love you no matter what.
Heck, I had an uncle and aunt who divorced, but continued to live in the same house - she was upstairs with the kids, and he was downstairs. It worked for them.
So, not to change the topic, but do you have any recent puppeh pics? 
I agree with the others, kai; it definitely could work. Since the other house is right next door, it’ll really be like suddenly having a much larger house. Sounds like a good solution to me.

Haven’t gotten lots done. I planted a couple of things, watered a bunch of plants, did a little bit of garden clean-up, then ran out of inspiration. I think I’m still getting over last week.

At my age, I no longer laugh or smirk at separate bedrooms or the like. Do what you have to do, I say. That would probably work for me and TH, actually. I just can’t bring myself to hate him, although I don’t feel some great Love for him, either. So, why not?
I am home alone–how weird is that? #2 son went to a friend’s house (ON HIS BIKE! YES!), Daughter is sleeping over at Liz’s, #1 son is at a friend’s with strict instructions to get a ride home due me going to bed soon and TH is not home.
Quick! Get out the beer bongs!

Oh boy, I am tahred today, for some reason. My lunch buddies weren’t at work today–well except one, and she left early, so I didn’t have anyone to eat lunch with. 
I had a nice salad with a piece of chicken breast from Popeye’s, leftover from the night before last. It was delicious. 
But … I am -so glad- that tomorrow is FIRDAY that I’m even thinking of taking off the whole day! Woo hoo! Okay, probably not the whole day, but maybe a couple of hours early?
And yay for hearing from Beebs - nice pics, btw … LOL at Swampy’s comment …
Oh, and driving man called back–there was a mess up. #1 son is not done with his hours (?); he needs 3 more–but he got half of those today. And he’ll get the rest on Tuesday and then they will submit it to the state. It takes a week from there, but we should be good to go. The guy was so nice–it was the owner. I’m not sure how we ended up short, but as long as it’s being addressed, I’m happy.
Off to bed. TH is now home as is #2 son–solitude doesn’t last long here!

Work was long and I am tired. Our intern harassed me all day about her review. I wish she would have been as proactive about her work.
I heard back from the vet today. Skunk’s blood tests all came back normal. Next step is x-rays, so I’m taking him in for those tomorrow. If the x-rays don’t show anything, she wants to do ultrasound. And that is where I draw the line. I love him, but I can not afford to spend $1000 just on the diagnosis. How many 1000s will treatment cost for whatever is wrong with him? I feel like a horrible person for even considering how much money I’m willing to spend.

kai, I’m not in a position to be offering relationship advice to anyone, but the arrangement you mention sounds perfect. I’m definitely one of those people who needs my own space.

kai, I think separate spaces are very important in couplehood. Some people can manage to give each other space even when they’re in the same room, and others need entirely separate living spaces. You just do what feels right for your own marriage and don’t worry so much about the opinions of others.
I have to admit, sometimes I miss having my own place, separate from The Boy. I love being near him, but it was nice to have the option to say “I’m going to curl up in my cave tonight. Why don’t you just sleep at your place?”
Shadow, don’t feel guilty about drawing the line somewhere. Pets are wonderful additions to your life and should be cared for to the best of your ability, but they’re not your children - it’s perfectly acceptable to refuse to pauper yourself for the sake of a medical diagnosis. I hope that they manage to figure out what’s wrong with Skunk, tho, and that all will be well.
