The US Mint is issuing new nickels some time this year. So far, I haven’t seen any or heard when they were going to be introduced. Anyone know when they’re going to be released and if they’re already out, has anyone seen one?
I haven’t seen one nor could I find anything at usmint.gov which is weird. Maybe the program got cancelled?

According to the coin collecting newsgroups, it’s coming out early next year. No final design yet.
