NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

Not surprising. Until Oct of 2018, Ivanka was still registered as a Democrat.

It’s a dead heat. Tuberville, being the new guy, has come on stupid strong though.

Ron DeSantis wants a law in Florida to fine social media platforms that deplatform political candidates.

Proof beyond the videotape?

Who has time to watch videos when it’s snowing outside?

How can you watch videos when all you can see is the inside of Trump’s colon?

I needed that one! Bravo!

Fair enough, but by the time ShitGibbon was deplatformed, I believe he was not a “candidate”.

I find myself wondering what the governor DeSantis’s position was on net neutrality a couple of years ago, and what it is now.

Well, not so much time as being prevented from catching up on videos, which, yeah, I can totally see where he’s coming from. Nothing worse than entering “Marjorie Taylor Greene” in the the google or youtube search fields and then VOOM* those darned mesmerizing swirly snowflakes just…start…ugh! swirly and all that shit, kinda.
Stultifying.
Incapacitating.
I’m sure Statesman Tuberville should provide solid, deep, far-reaching, like, all the way, whole, fucking 80, 90, no! 100 yards touchdown! success at, say, reaching out to maybe AOC, in no time. I expect to see those two in lock-step pronto.
Perhaps they could see something much, much deeper in each other.

I bet he could fit his phone in there easy.

Just explain to him that Twitter is like a bakery and Donald Trump is like a gay couple.

That’s an insult to hammers. Hammers may be simple tools, but they are useful and serve a purpose. Unlike Tommy Tuberville.

You probably know this (and DeSantis probably doesn’t), but net neutrality has nothing to do with companies banning folks.

MTG is the new BLM. The thought of playing Magic the Gathering at a Bureau of Land Management site sounds intriguing but the constant double takes are annoying.

That’s an unfair comparison. How do you know that Tommy Tuberville can’t be used to drive nails into wood?

Funnily enough, the British idiom akin to “dumb as a bag of hammers” is “thick as two short planks”.

Why short planks? Is there an implied relationship between the two dimensions of pieces of wood?

How about Tommy Tuberville?

Apparently so - the idea is the shorter the plank, the thicker. IANA lumber merchant so I have no idea if this is true.

You mean Tommy Two-by-Four?

I’ve always been partial to “Not the sharpest spoon in the drawer.”

Or you could always go for the Blackadderism: “As thick a a whale sandwich.”
