NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

And you can marry Mitch McConnell !

As much as I like the idea of MAGAts having less money, them being poorer does not make them more tolerable (probably the opposite) and you just have to know that this will get spun around into the evil Democrat-run government taking their hard-earned shekels, because the bulb in the Republican projection machine has not yet burned out.

Want to bet on whether he has social media posts decrying the lack of prayer in schools? I want the “he does” side of that proposition.

I don’t expect any more of them will get their money back at this point because I’m sure the campaign spent every last penny before shutting down. But I’m hoping that this qualifies as bona fide criminal conduct, and that the people who made this happen spend some time in prison.

Spent? I suspect the money has been dry cleaned and hidden.

Oh, come on, if duping people were illegal, our entire economic system would be seen twitching feebly in the dust of its own rubble.

Best answer I’ve seen so far: "Yeah, but you’ll also be told to go back to wherever you came from by the racist followers of Mike Huckabee. "

Congressman Greg Murphy replied to Ilhan Omar’s condolences for the death of the Capitol policeman by trying to associate her with 9/11.

OK, credit where it’s due…
Former/Once In A Blue Moon poster Bricker opposed the death penalty. I never asked him why. Opposing it is all that matters to me, so credit where it’s due.
In the same way, I credit (this time, once here!) Arkansas Gov. The Republican Asa Hutchinson for giving a big veto to the recently presented to him anti-transgender rights bill. Whatever, and whyever he did, I ain’t asking. Credit where it’s due…

“Washington (CNN)Arkansas’ Republican governor on Monday vetoed an anti-transgender health care bill that would’ve prohibited physicians in the state from providing gender-affirming “procedures” for trans people under age 18.”

The Supreme Court has refused to hear an appeal from Alex Jones over his conviction for spreading lies about the Sandy Hook murders, in which he claimed he was exercising his free speech rights.

IIUC, Bricker is Catholic and thus opposes all non-martial forms of killing humans and proto-humans.

And one more cute thing about this. WinRed, unlike ActBlue, is a for profit company. They both take a cut of the donations. But when ActBlue returns money (which happens when someone donates over the limit) they also return the cut to the campaign. WinRed didn’t, so they were ripping of the Trump campaign as well as the donors. Just in case you thought they were all bad.
And the Republican Senatorial candidates in Georgia pulled the same scam.

Hadn’t heard that part of the story.

The GOP is all corruption all the time, eh?

Case in point: on Monday, Gaetz trotted out his former aide and Air Force Captain Nathaniel Nelson, to refute the charges made against the member of Congress. Nelson claimed that he was “convinced that the allegations against Congressman Gaetz are likewise fabricated.” But when asked if he had any evidence to back up his belief, Nelson admitted he had nothing."

“I’m not here to provide any degree of evidence in support of Congressman Gaetz, only to discredit these baseless allegations,” he said. “I don’t have any specific knowledge on the investigation or any of the facts that are involved with the investigation.”

Nelson also shared that he hadn’t spoken to Gaetz in “several months.”

Hasn’t spoken to him, has no knowledge of the investigation or facts. Sounds air tight to me, let’s move on to Benghazi.

/giant eye roll

Well, it’s the same standards of evidence Gaetz et al used to determine all that voter fraud don’t 'cha know.

Insider trading not pulling in enough money?

Daniel Dale, the fact checker for CNN, has a steady job as long as Republicans continue to speak.
Today, he was dragging Senator Tim Scott for trying to claim that Colorado, where the All Star Game has been moved to, has more restrictive voting laws than Georgia has.

Court orders Devin Nunes aide and lawyer to pay court fees for continued bad faith lawsuits.

Reading is a skill, and if you read that too quickly, it looks like he opposes all non-MARITAL forms of killing humans. Killing your husband is OK, but executing her by the state would be a no-no.

Just exactly what kind of relationship are you involved in?
