If it’s an AIDS vaccine that doesn’t work you’re after, we’ve got lots of those.
I’m not 100% these folks are Republicans, but given the area and subject it seems a safe bet: Ban on books by or about minorities sparks protests, national news in York County
That’s the word! And, @carrps , abattoir works, too.
I wonder if he’s thinking of the HPV vaccine rather than some nonexistent HIV vaccine.
The HPV vaccine had some amount of controversy early on, as parents didn’t want to think about their tween kids growing up soon and starting to have sex. Plus, HPV was for some time the “go-to” virus cited in Christian chastity promotion circles because “it is smaller than the pores in a condom” (I have no idea if this is true) and it can lead to cervical cancer - ergo, the perfect motivator for abstinence.
It’s not.
Could be. I’ve seen that theory advanced in a few places.
Still: the guy is a GOVERNOR. He’s gotten this wrong several times, from what I read. You’d think he’d have someone on his staff capable of getting the actual facts into his noggin…
In January, John Eastman, lawyer for Loser Donald, gave Mike Pence a memo outlining their plan to overturn the results of the election and keep the Loser in office.
Just watched this on CNN. I don’t even know anymore. Pence had to call Dan Quayle to figure why this was a bad idea. A man who didn’t how to spell potato. Dan Quayle is now smarter than the leadership of the Republican party. I’m about to turn 40 next month and I’m not sure I recognize my country anymore.
There’s an historian I’ve been following on Facebook throughout the pandemic, who mentioned this last week. As I said then, when Dan Quayle is acting as the voice of reason, you know you’re in trouble.
“Po-ta-toes! Boil them, mash them, stick them in a stew. Don’t overturn democracy while you do that.” - Samwise Quayle
The last sentence might be an addendum.
I’m just wondering how much more of this obviously criminal behavoir has to come to light before that corrupt asshole Christopher Wray stops brushing it off as “free speech”.
I’m very disappointed that Biden didn’t fire him and appoint someone that wasn’t corrupted by Trump.
You think replacing the FBI DIRECTOR appointed by a MOBBED-UP GOON would be a priority, right?
Well, it appears the left’s tactics are working swimmingly. It appears reverse psychology only works on toddlers and the right.
Yes, why hasn’t this happened? It’s really mystifying to me.
And DeJoy at the Postal Service. Very odd.
I believe Biden can’t dismiss him freely, but Biden has been able to appoint favorable members to the advisory committee who can vote to dump him. EDIT: I was mostly right, but here’s more info: Louis DeJoy, USPS, and Trump: Why Biden can’t fire the postmaster general.
Fucker Carlson says the Pentagon order to all service members to get vaccinated is intended to oust Christians and men with high testosterone.
I don’t know for a fact that the owner is Republican, but I’d bet that way

The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments in * Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health*, a case in which the right is arguing that the Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade was an unconstitutional reach. That’s the base of the case, but some court watchers are saying that if the Court rules that the abortion case was unconstitutionally decided, then every such Supreme Court case, including gay sex and gay marriage, could also be overturned by this one ruling.
