Up here in bright red Montana our esteemed AG Austin Knudsen called a Helena hospital multiple times to demand that an elderly Covid patient be treated with ivermictin and then sent a highway patrolman to the hospital (in the city limits, so no jurisdiction) to further threaten the doctors and administration.
I think a state trooper has authority within towns. But ZERO authority to direct the treatment of a patient in a hospital. Unless, of course, they see someone actively abusing the patient.
I nearly to the point that if these idiots want to take poison against all advice and facts, well… it’s a case of Darwinism in action. Way worse than 'Hold my beer and watch THIS!"

Somehow I got on the Facebook list of a schoolmate from 'way back who has become a serious Trumper. I was astonished over the weekend to get a post with fake movie poster of “Prop Gun” (using the “Top Gun” logo) that shows a photoshopped Alec Baldwin. It appears to have originated from the National Association for Gun Rights twitter feed, where you can se it, if you’ve got a mind to.
Real Classy, both making that and distributing it.
I’m not sure exactly what point they’re trying to make. The only thing that stops an actor with a gun is a cinematographer with a gun?
I’m sure the only point is salt in the wound.
