NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

:unamused:Sure, I’ll bite: so, what is it about his oft-mentioned company that doesn’t make you want to, well, DESTROY him?

Not sure, but I think you misspelled regret

They shouldn’t do that. It just drives down the market value for everyone else. I see in the news that the Devil got some bargains in Georgia lately.

This might induce me to join Twitter: https://twitter.com/senatorbigbird Big Bird for Senate.

Lauren Boebert challenges wheelchair-user Madison Cawthorn to a “sprint” to see who gets to hire Kyle Rittenhouse as an intern. Rittenhouse hasn’t said he wants to be an intern.

Today’s GQP. The party of hate, fear, lies, murderers, traitors, rapists, and abusers. And, I assume, some nice people.

Also do they know that Muppets are vastly more popular than they are, and rejecting them is not going to improve matters.

Muppets show net approval positive 46
Sesame street net approval positive 58
Republican party net approval negative 32

You forgot grift, graft, and corruption.

Regarding right-wing rejection of masks and vaccines: I’m starting to wonder if science denial is a self-limiting problem.

Objection! Assumes facts not in evidence.

Interesting that the Republicans are attacking Sesame Street and the Muppets, given the hysterics they were in earlier this year about liberals “cancelling” Dr Seuss (which wasn’t even happening).

First 30 seconds are free, then you get transferred to a licensed (to drive) credit counselor for $4.99/minute.

The waiting music is Heartbeat, it’s a love beat by the DeFranco Family, because this is Hell, nor are we out of it.

It isn’t the whole song, tho; just the hook. Over and over and over.

Jesus, SB! :hear_no_evil:

If I didn’t think the image of Big Bird being arrested would traumatize kids all over the US, I’d honestly suggest sending Big Bird to the conference, just for the images of the GOP having him arrested. I can’t think of another single image that would so perfectly capture absolutely everything that’s wrong with the GOP.

Anti-Vaxx? Check
Anti-education? Check
Anti-child? Check
Anti-First Amendment? Check
Obsessed with culture war? Check

In addition to the obvious attack on a disabled person (Hey, it worked out for Trump that one time, right?), there’s this:

“They’re raising money on it, and you have all these Republican congressmen saying come work for me,” said Mark Richards, who represented Rittenhouse in the Kenosha, Wisconsin, homicide trial. “They want to trade on his celebrity, and I think it’s disgusting.”

I continually wonder how often the GOP has to attack or exploit their own supporters before those being attacked finally figure out that the GOP sees no value in them beyond what the GOP can get out of them.

Neither of the above issues are at all surprising to those of us who’ve actually paid attention the last decade or so, but will the targets of this abuse ever see it?

Don’t mean to nitpick you, but after 15 free seconds, it becomes $20.24 per minute (get it?).

Happy T-Day, JT! It’s supposed to clear up later. :sun_behind_small_cloud:

Once again, to the Republicans hypocrisy is not an accusation to avoid-It is a weapon to be wielded.

Regarding the bolded item: only after they’re born.

Nah, I’m pretty sure they’re against pre-natal care as well.

Well, at least against paying for it.
