There’s a bill before the Kansas legislature that makes it illegal for companies or businesses to fire employees who refuse to mask up.
Kansas is an “at-will” state. Employers don’t need a reason to fire anyone.

This bill changes that.
How tragic that this new advance in Republican thinking came too late for Typhoid Mary!
(My bold) As the article states, it’s illegal to fire employees who refuse to get the vaccine.
One ridiculous aspect about the bill is that any employee can can claim a religious exemption, and the employer cannot challenge that belief.
The bill was signed by Democratic Governor Laura Kelly, who knew that her veto would be overridden. She’s trying to get re-elected next year.
Are they taking away “at will” for everything, or just mask wearing?
Unless they are going to make it illegal to fire someone for not doing their job, or for being chronically late, or insubordination, or timecard fraud, then there still is a remedy.
Add an amendment to the bill that makes it illegal to fire someone for trying to start a union, and see how far it gets.

Yikes! I missed the part where he’s now a congressman from Texas. 
But someone explain to me the connection he is making between covid-o and the midterms-- this part: "a trick to push unsolicited nationwide mail-in ballots,” especially the word unsolicited.
And naturally, he’s equating mail-in ballots with cheating. Sigh. 
I know, I know-- looking for logic is futile.
It’s an illustration of how stupid Republicans are, or at least how stupid they believe their voters to be. The Left, and probably dastardly BLM, too, orchestrate something that sickens and kills people across the globe with the intent of influencing an election in one country.
Can the employer claim a religious belief that requires them to only hired vaccinated people? Worked (sort of) for Hobby Lobby . . .
Well, it’s not like I’m going to vote Republican next election just because she does something like this. It’s a no-win situation, but yeah… disappointing.
Who cares about dying furriners? Besides, the “deaths” are all probably faked by crisis actors and the New World Order.
Yeah, it gets even stupider if the thought is that the new variant is being overhyped to influence the elections.
You got your American Democrats, who are lucky to convince 50% of American voters to support their cause, but have no trouble getting leaders and health officials from across the globe to join in the scam.
It’s ridiculously stupid, but then again, we’re talking about Republicans.
I think it shows how strong international an leader Biden is and how much he has improved the US’s influence on the world stage. We went from a president who was literally laughed out of the UN to someone who can snap his fingers cause other countries to shut down flights and economies purely for his domestic political benefit. 
This same argument is also the problem with global warming deniers. If global warming was purely a hoax to get grants for those greedy climate scientists and push the socialist agenda in the US, then why are just about every other country in the world, from China to Zimbabwe, none of which have those incentives, playing along?
It’s not about what they think is true. It’s about inflammatory propaganda.
It’s like you’ve never heard of the “Jewluminati.”
She already has support of the Democratic minority in Kansas. She is facing a massive uphill struggle to get re-elected. This might change a few undecided minds.
