I know nothing about Ericksen, and I wish nothing but goodwill to a grieving family but it’s telling that their statement includes nothing about getting vaccinated or wearing masks.
“We are heartbroken to share that our husband and father passed away on Friday, Dec. 17. Please keep our family in your prayers and thank you for continuing to respect our privacy in this extremely difficult time,” his family said in a statement."
It’s like this was a tragedy that was completely unforeseeable and unpreventable. Like drinking a fifth of whisky and deciding you can drive home. (Except not, because Ericksen presumably was completely sober at some point in last year.)
It really is a death cult.
(If it turns out Ericksen was fully vaccinated and encouraged others to do the same I apologize and please disregard. But I highly doubt it.)
He introduced several bills last year to lift all covid restrictions, tried to end vote-by-mail in WA, stumped for Loren Culp’s pro-covid gubernatorial campaign, and demanded that Inslee resign for letting the state shut down - and he did all this while representing the area containing the state’s largest US-Canada border crossing, the shutdown of which would have been prolonged if he had had his way.
He was definitely knee-deep in “I never thought the leopards would eat MY face” territory.
And let’s not forget, she’s not even the one who is responsible for this claim to native heritage. She’s essentially “guilty” of believing what her own grandmother told her.
Well, she did try to leverage it to her advantage, which IMO would have been lame whether it was true or not. But it should barely merit a footnote compared to what she’s accomplished in her career, and of course the Trumps say and do more ridicule-worthy things every day before breakfast.
TL; DW - 40% of Trump voters are not vaccinated, compared to 7% of Biden voters. Three months ago, only 35% of Republicans were opposed to government encouraging vaccination; today that number is 48%. The argument made in the video is that the first disparity alone is enough to swing elections, given that people are going to die from COVID. Combined with the second, and the fact that the trend is for more conservatives to oppose vaccination as time goes by, many more Republicans Democrats (or Independents) are going to die from COVID in the coming months, thus swinging elections even more towards Democrats.

What They Do
Tag agents offer a varying range of services to customers, depending on their location. They provide help with driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations, turnpike passes, title transfers, notary services and boat tags. State agencies duplicate many of those services, online or at state offices.
