NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

Although this is an attractive from a karmic standpoint, depletion of voter rolls due to death by Covid isn’t going to swing elections much. Over the past two years we have had around 800k deaths out of a population of 330 million, so about 0.4%. Even if you get similar death rates over the next year and all of it come from the red side, its still going to be less than 0.5% of the red vote. So while it may result in a slight nudge in results, its not going to overturn polling results like he suggested.

But, as the Republicans are want to point out, it isn’t so much “how many” as it is “where.” Take out the right amounts in the right districts and things could get swingy.

Given the fact that so much of that wind will be hot air, I’m thinking that we need to redesign wind turbines to resemble angel chimes, and mount them over the appropriate legislative buildings.

Also, you have to figure that the Republicans who aren’t getting vaccinated tend to be the most fanatic of them. They’re more likely to vote, and less likely to vote non-Republican. So taking out a chunk of your core, and maybe alienating a chunk of the less fanatical can add up.

How many “swing voter” Republicans are thinking, “Those anti-vax bastards killed my mom”? Every little bit adds up.

Brian Kilmeade says Jesus was born in a Manger because the hotels were full of tourists enjoying the holiday season and doing their Christmas shopping.

And we must note, also, Kilmeade’s claim that “animals” were “used to heat Jesus” (and that is a direct quote).

SNL used to do Fox and Friends parodies with Bobby Moynihan playing the intellectually-challenged Mr. Kilmeade …but their writers would never have dared to show him being this stupid.

Democrats should come out STRONGLY in favor of cancer treatments, quick treatment of heart attacks, and medications for stroke. Make this a central message.

Fucker Carlson says Congressman Eric Swallwell has multiple doses of chlamydia. Due to his having slept with Chinese spy Fang Fang. There is no evidence that he has chlamydia, and there is no evidence that he slept with Fang Fang,

And your point would be…?

I read up on the slander laws once. One of the very explicit causes of action for a slander suit is falsely accusing someone of having a “loathsome disease”.

Does that cover accusing someone of being a loathsome disease?

Does he not know that chlamydia is easily curable with antibiotics, or is he just assuming that his audience doesn’t know that?

. . . and, as far as I know, is not as readily transmitted by undiapered passengers on crowded airplanes.

What is going on with what Jesse Watters said regarding Mr. Fauci? Sorry, I am unable to post a link

Here’s one, about DR. Fauci’s reaction that might provide some background.

When Steve Doocy is the voice of reason in the conversation, things have gone very wrong indeed.

One wonders if this has something to do with Swalwell’s open suit against Donald Trump for inciting the January 6 insurrection.

Holy shit! There is a ton of stupidity in that clip.

Damned Saturnalia shoppers!

And while they’re at it, food and shelter. After all, manly men and womenly women scoff at creature comforts.

I’m not a biblical scholar or religious person or anything, but weren’t the Bethlehem hotels all booked up because the freedumb hating Romans made everyone travel so they could count them, or something?
