I think what’s more likely is the “election police” get a “tip” that there’s voter fraud going on in a heavily blue district, so they move in and start mass arrests. Everyone is ultimately released when there’s no evidence of fraud, but meanwhile thousands of votes were deterred.

“Stave” is a synonym for “start”, right? They didn’t teach us all this fancy jargon in the Academy.
A stave is a stick. To “stave off” literally means to hit that thing with a stick until it stops being a problem. If the police perceive the possibility of a “riot” (some event that makes them unhappy) developing, they can take out their sticks and start in on the staving off before it even gets legs.
Technically, we don’t know that this doctor was a Republican. But… come on.
Maybe this doesn’t belong in the “stupid” thread. Medical experimentation on inmates is downright malevolent. It doesn’t really matter that it involved massive doses of ivermectin, though that definitely puts it in the stupid category as well.
Regarding Kennedy (Senior, Junior or both) and Trump, I’m becoming more and more convinced that Q is actually one or more former writers for the Weekly World News. So I would not be at all surprised if there were a Q-tip that Trump’s running mate in 2024 will be Bat Boy.
