NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

He is. Have you seen the others?

I stand corrected. running_coach FTW!

And his name is Boris Epshteyn.

This is an old article, but the dude is still around. He was on the speaker list for last night’s rally.
This link isn’t paywalled.

As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly I was making a joke.

GOP dude who got trounced refuses to concede. This will probably happen in every race this November.

That is what you call your Republiopath ethics: “The Ends Justify the Means”.

The White House posted a graphic showing that Biden has created more jobs than Individual 1 in his first year, and Donnie Junior retweeted it, expecting his followers to criticize it.

So what does the refusal mean, practically? We heard a lot about it in the presidential race; is it any different with state and local level elections?

It means nothing. The winner will be sworn in and this loser clown will continue to whine and file frivolous lawsuits. Much like our former president, actually.

In reality, Douglass and Lincoln got on very well together, and never to my knowledge debated. You can read about their meetings in various places on the 'net

http://www.mrlincolnandfreedom.org/library/mr-lincolns-contemporaries/frederick-douglass/
http://www.mrlincolnandfriends.org/meeting-greeting-friends/

The latter includes my favorite observation about the tall and lanky Lincoln:

All of the Republicans who oppose voter rights, who vote for gerrymandered districts, who vote against teaching about minority history, are tweeting their love for Martin Luther King. If they have their way, kids won’t even get to know who Martin Luther King was.

“Martin Luther King was a white guy who fought against wokism.”

“Martin Luther King was the guy who fixed racism, which is why we never have to think about it anymore”

I’ve actually heard more than one person say something to the effect of, “If racism is still such a problem, why do we have a day for Martin Luther King?”

“MLK had a dream of us coming together, so we shouldn’t cause division by saying that life as a slave was in any way bad or that there is still any systemic racism.”

Florida governor Ron DeSantis has proposed an election police force empowered to arrest voters.

What could go wrong?

From the linked article:

They would be stationed at unspecified “field offices throughout the state” and act on tips from “government officials or any other person.”

“What could go wrong” indeed…

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/11/09/trump-voter-fraud-hotline-spam/

Although the campaign has thus far failed to prove any voter fraud, the hotline has received no shortage of phone calls — all thanks to a viral campaign on TikTok and Twitter to clog the hotline with anti-Trump memes and absurd messages.

Callers have been flooding the Trump administration’s new illegal immigration hotline with stories about aliens. Only not the kind the administration was thinking of. People are trolling the line with calls about space aliens

I’ve got a good place they can start their investigations.

Pull his mask off!
