NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

Or the first half of the movie Life is Beautiful.

The Pianist might be family friendly, for certain types of families.

There were very fine people on both sides, worthy of study.

Dear Og. We are all aware, I hope, that when we start burning/banning books, we’ll end up burning/banning people? (paraphrasing Heinrich Heine). Maus is one of my absolute favorite graphic novels (we’ve got both parts First Edition, I’ve read them multiple times) . As far as I’m concerned, this is really the Dark Ages taking over. Yeh – especially the Grace Jones from that Conan movie! Just picture her dealing with Thomas and Alito…

Before my time, but didn’t there used to be a poster here named MeanOldLady?

Her, then?

Snowflakes gotta whine…

Former North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory said last year that not receiving an offer to teach at Duke University upon leaving the governorship was “blacklisting” and comparable to the refusal to serve Black Americans at lunch counters in the 1960s during segregation…
