Maus is one of my absolute favorite graphic novels (we’ve got both parts First Edition, I’ve read them multiple times) . As far as I’m concerned, this is really the Dark Ages taking over. I can’t find the video of it anymore, but a student at one of these school meetings reminded their school board that in every instance that books were banned, history has not judged those responsible kindly.
Which I suspect they’d know if they weren’t busy literally banning the history that would teach them that.
