NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 1)

What I’m seeing here is a full on attempt to make “democracy” into a dirty, leftist, communist word.

“Democracy is bad!” is what they are training their legion of useful idiots to repeat and repeat and repeat.

Ok, he was talking to KATU? A Portland station (Sinclair network)? What?

Rep. Jason Smith wants the British Royal family to stop the Meghan and Harry to stop telling people to “reject hate speech and misinformation” because that is campaigning against Trump.

Nice self-own there, bud. Openly admitting that Trump is hate speech.

Sheriff of a southern Michigan county is uncertain that the terrorists were terrorists and may have been acting legally.

Yes. Minority rule works best when only the minority can vote.

Some of them are probably avidly studying up on how South Africa did apartheid–lots of great tips there!

I wouldn’t take any bets that depended on the White House remaining standing by January 20.

A nice fire (or massive explosion) will cover up a whole host of absences of White House art/historic objects.

Terrorists did it, of course. Auntie Fa.

I’d be more concerned about server drives and laptops.

I would HOPE those are backed up offsite (probably manually on a sneakernet network to minimize hacking).

KATU broadcasts to SW Washington, and he’s running for governor of Washington.

Straight conservative commentators think the ladies are hot for Mike Pence.

Those nuts that produced Judge Barrett, maybe.

Welp, I guess if you sculpt shit into a vaguely human shape (attracting all sorts of life forms), in today’s culture SOMEONE somewhere is bound to be turned on by it.

I don’t know…he doesn’t seem all that interested in letting a woman finish.

Bravo!

Actually this doesn’t surprise me one bit. Sadly, I’m sure it’s correct.

So refusing to be tested for COVID is the new Republican “I’m a MAN and you’re not the boss of me!” hill to die on? Okay, I’m good with that.

So, if democracy is so bad, does that mean that all of the Loyal Republicans should stay home to protest?

So, just curious: for these guys saying democracy is to be shunned, are they actually saying out loud that a dictatorship is the cool way to go, or what?

Let’s not get carried away here with some crazy straw man. They are just taking the perfectly reasonable position that the adjustment from three-fifths should have been down by two-fifths, rather than up by two-fifths. So that the right people can stay in charge.

I’ve said it before, and will have reason to say it again - own goals like this are a Republican specialty.
