Not so fun living in a country without the rule of law, is it?
Quelle ironie.

My guess is that Billy Boy is working very, very hard on measures that will work much more subtly than an overt arrest of Trump’s rival would, to achieve the goal the protesters want (keeping Trump in power).
But the tragedy for Billy Boy is that Trump’s troglodytic followers, including those protesters, will fail to understand either the subtlety or the extent of the deformation of the rule of law needed to ensure the result desired.
Poor Billy Boy! He is destined to be unappreciated!!
Barr and the head of the FBI will be gone on Wednesday.
Christopher Wray fired—yes, I think your prediction is correct.
But Barr may be able to show Trump–or more likely, the kids–that his ongoing efforts are necessary to shepherd through all those hundreds* of courts, nationwide, all those cases intended to throw out Democratic ballots.
So I’m guessing he’ll get a reprieve–at least until things look dark enough for the coup-efforts that Donald just gives up. At that point, Donald will take enormous pleasure in firing Barr. (He’ll wait until Barr has flown on a government plane somewhere from which it will be hard to get home on publicly-available flights, then gleefully tweet that Barr is fired.)

*I’m assuming—maybe wrongly–that some of the lawsuits are at the county level. Possibly all Barr’s efforts are at state level, in which case “dozens” would be the better word.
I"m hoping that Barr enjoys his time under the bus.
Remember; Everything Trump touches turns to shit.
In fairness, Barr started out that way.
Barr begged for this job. I hope it was worth it.
I suspect he’s backed way off from doing Trump’s bidding now. The ghost of John Mitchell likely looms large in his Halloween dreams.
Tweet I just came across:
The Texas GOP’s reaction to the harassment of the Biden bus. It’s all the leftists’ fault.
It should be noted that the TX GOP chairman who authorized that tweet is former Representative Allen West, he of the court-martial for firing a gun beside an interogatee’s head to make him think he was being executed, and the man who was actually too crazy for Florida to return to Congress.
More on the incident, from the Texas Tribune, for background:
I find myself unable to read that tweet. Any other sources? TIA
Try this:

Below is Chairman Allen West’s response:
“Three Trump supporters have been executed, one in Portland, one in Denver, and one Milwaukee. A leftist mob attempted to storm the house of the McCloskeys, threatened to burn their house down, rape Mrs. McCloskey, and then kill them both.
Where is the liberal corporate media’s concern about that real violence? Additionally, none of what your question implies is accurate. It is more fake news and propaganda.
Prepare to lose…stop bothering me. Maybe Soros can cut y’all another check in 2022.”
Ooh I know this one!! Too cocky? Tu quowue?
They were a big hit this year for Halloween.
On the lies per inch scale; he’s in DumpsterFire’s neighborhood.
“Someone stepped on our lawn, get your pistol, I’ll get the the AR” IMHO, you should be able to stand on your porch with guns. But very, very bad form. Inciting violence comes to mind. Sort of what Trump does every day.
Really nothing compared to the trumpists trying to run a Biden campaign bus off the road. Why have these people not been arrested for vehicular assault? I mean come on. Attacking a bus that is supporting a Presidential candidate? These people are not in jail?
Yeah, Texas. We are looking lawlessness in the face. These people will totally lose there shit come about November 4th.
