I really hate to defend Governor Maggot, but he made that statement on Wednesday, when he was defending the ‘brave’ actions of the law enforcement officers.
Two days later, when he had learned more details about how the cops botched the whole affair, he held another press conference, in which he stated he was livid because he was misled.

That’s assuming you can make a clean head shot. I’ve shot rifles, but against a charging feral pig I’d want something that put out a wall of lead and hope nothing important was behind it.
Knowing this, I avoid areas where I might run into a feral pig.
