The linked article is about Jill Biden unveiling the stamp. On reread, true, it doesn’t say she or Joe had anything to do with picking Nancy to be honored, which makes sense (although it DOES call this a “bipartisan” gesture, but if the Bidens have nothing to do with picking Nancy Regan for the stamp that seems like a real stretch). Still, neither did Republicans. There’s plenty to criticize Republicans for (especially right now), but this particular stupid idea is hardly a stupid REPUBLICAN idea of the day.

I think it’s clear that they are being sarcastic. My point is that I’m not some right winger trying to cast blame on Biden for everything, I was simply pointing out that this particular social ill is one of the few that probably isn’t the Republicans’ fault. So the sarcasm feels misplaced.

Once again, it is classic R projection. Joe the President’s predecessor was (is) inestimably stupid yet also profoundly dangerous. They are simply attempting to throw all of our reasoned assessments of Individual-ONE back on him, adding in “sleepy” because Joe does not behave like a demented cow.
Nancy Reagan was a Republican, so maybe the “stupid Republican idea” was dying after all the stupid stuff she did as first lady, just so she could be on a stamp someday.
