NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

Actually not a stupid idea, but an evil one.

URL squat on common typos for common services. Usually you get a porn site, but sometimes you find yourself at somewhere far less reputable.

I don’t blame the police, and only somewhat blame the printer for the mistake.

If I were a student wherever he teaches, I would demand a full refund.

OH NO YOU DON’T!!!

Huh - to take a second or two to contemplate the unbridled idiocy of that statement.

Where’s the “WTF??” emoji?

Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley. Really all you need to know. Blaming Ms. Morrison for getting wrongly convicted persons released from prison. You’re supposed to release the innocent and find the actual criminals! Duh! As bad if not worse then CFSG still insisting the Central Park 5 are/were guilty.

Wonderful state, West Virginia. The ERA still not adopted to the constitution.

The ERA is just an open invitation for all women to morph into Hillary. Can’t have that!

Unsurprising chucklefuckery…

Yet AIUI the DOJ has basically lost interest in this cowboy shitheel, who now runs for congress.

The MyPillow guy said he was going to give MyPillows to all of the Ottawa truck protesters, but both his truck driver and he himself were blocked from entering Canada for failure to provide proof of vaccination or negative covid test.

I don’t know much about criminal law or finance but this response by Trump seems like a bad idea on his part.

From that link. I love a good chuckle with my morning coffee.

Trump’s attorneys repeatedly stated that he did not know enough to respond to allegations of inaccurate valuations. But the former president’s five-page statement got into detail about possible discrepancies, implying that he had more knowledge than his lawyers said.

Instead of the “sham investigation” of his business, Trump said in another part of the five-page diatribe, law enforcement and the “fake news media” should look into former U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as well as “murderers, drug dealers and rapists.”

My bold.

Those lawyers are on to something.

James should cordially invite Trump to personally correct these discrepancies in a face-to-face chat. Under oath.

Tyranny! Fascism!

He also says that any discrepancies would be offset by his “branding numbers”, which I guess is the magic increase in value added to any real estate that bears his ineffable name. (Personally, I’ve always found his name to be eminently effable, but maybe that’s just me.)

Trump says they should be investigating drug dealers, murderers, and rapists. Well Donny, you definitely fall into at least one of those categories.

Reminds me of that old SNL sketch with Jon Lovitz as Picasso. He takes some kid’s drawing, signs his name on it and gives it back to him. “Here you go, kid. Now it’s worth something!”

Musing… It occurred to me that for trump to write a five-page anything is a lot, but then I realized he probably wrote it in Sharpie! So probably no more than 50 words total.

I just got a new phone recently, and discovered the joys of speech to text.

With a little editing, I’m sure he could vomit out screeds that would make War and Peace feel like a short story.

Before he got kicked off Twitter, he could do that in 280 characters.
