NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

Sadly, I’m not sure he’s wrong.

He’s aware, isn’t he, that his opponent has a head filled with naught but foam rubber?

I guess he found an opponent for a fair fight.

Ketchup has natural mellowing agents.

Like hell. He’s totally outclassed.

This is interesting:
Secret Service officials: Agents willing to dispute Trump SUV incident under oath

"Officials from the US Secret Service have announced that Tony Ornato and Bobby Engel, the agents named in Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony, are willing to testify before the Jan. 6 committee and dispute Hutchinson’s account of an alleged incident involving then-President Trump."

Looks like someone is lying.

Gee, wonder how long it’ll take them to conclude it’s a waste of time to vote, then. (I know the point is that they could equally conclude that they could make their voice heard via violence, but I think peaceful fuming apathy is just as possible, and I’m here for that.)

Dammit! I should have coached my wife to lean toward them and, in her most conspiratorial whisper, say, “You’re right. You know, there’s really no point in voting at all. The fix is in.”

Looks like two someones are preparing to lie, under oath.

The secret service will deny anything embarrassing to the Presidency.

They're duty-bound to do so.

What’s shameful about this is that MAGAlosers will use this to discredit ALL of her testimony. It’s already started.

They’ll try, and it will work on the worst 1/3 of us, but that leaves the rest.

Of course, this was always going to be true. Someone in the group being investigated was certain to come out and publicly deny something said during the hearings, and this denial would be automatically believed by the MAGAts. That’s just what they do. That’s what the whole “Fake News!” routine was based on.

You wanna go, Ted?

nevermind

Ben Shapiro, who loves Individual 1, says that Individual 1 can’t be indicted for anything because it would be difficult to show intent. “I’m not sure Donald Trump has intent to eat a ham sandwich.”

Thanks, Rupert Murdoch!!!11!!!

my emphasis

Tina Peters (Big Lie proponent, naturally) ran for Secretary of State in Colorado and came in third. Why? Election fraud, of course.

And the same thing happened in the NV GOP gubernatorial primary. Joey Gilbert (who?) lost by 25,000 votes, but he explains to Roger Stone on Lindell TV that he actually won, and the ‘data’ will prove that he is the winner.

He’s paying for a recount, which will cost about $200k.

Well. Snopes claims that this allegation is false.

I expect that the US Secret Service would remain silent on any president’s foibles, peccadilloes or temper tantrums, but I can hardly believe that the USSS would flat out lie to Congress.

This is good to hear.

Did she say that Trump “assaulted” the SS agent at any point? Because I’m seeing a lot of “Trump didn’t actually assault anyone!” rebuttals but not that she’d claimed that in the first place. All I’m seeing is that she was told he grabbed at the steering wheel and made a “lunge” toward someone.
