NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

For some reason, it never occurred to me that other countries would have their own version of the paper bag test.

When I was in HS, there was one white guy who had a huge Lilt afro (big loose curls), and one time in health class we started throwing pencils into his hair until he at last complained that it was hurting. The next day, he came to school with a Wolfman Jack style do.

There’s a shirt I’ve seen advertised that says “I oil my AR-15 with liberal cum”, which may not be dumb but it’s certainly……odd. I will try to find a picture so I know it wasn’t a photoshop job or something.

There’s an entire subgenre now of parody T-shirts making fun of MAGA memes. I guess you could consider it a real-world form of shitposting.

Here’s a few examples, which I personally own copies of;

Wait a minute…so the stone tablets carrying 10 inscribed rules have now been smashed. How far away is mount sinai?

Former US Secretary of Education says that mass shootings can be prevented by exorcisms.

Wisconsin Supreme Court says ballot drop boxes are illegal.

NC legislator wants to ban EV charging stations unless they also offer free gas.

“Motivating principle is Being Mad At Electricity”

Of all the stupid republican ideas in the story of this thread and its predecessors this one takes the cake in my opinion.
There have been dumber ones, meaner ones and more harmful ones, but the unique combination of dumb, mean and harmful reflected in this bill cannot be beaten.

Yes. That idea is remarkably Republican.

So… Republicans in North Carolina now want the government to prevent a private business from operating to fill a consumer need.

OK then. They’ve gone full Marxist.

Og smash!

Stealing.

Kavanaugh had to escape from the restaurant where he was having dinner because of protesters. Funny, there doesn’t seem to be anything in the Constitution about the right to eat in a restaurant.

Pregnant Texas woman got a ticket for driving alone in the car pool lane. She’s challenging the ticket on the grounds that Texas law declares a fetus a person.

[snicker]

It was only a matter of time. Good for her. Let’s see how far she (and others) can take the unexpected consequences of GOP action.

I wonder if she can claim the fetus as a dependent.

Mama’s little tax deduction, this year.

Did he at least have time to finish his beers?
