NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

Depends - with your typical yellow onion, if you want to bring out the sweetness, you’ve got to go low and slow to caramelize them. Walla Wallas are sweet enough that you can get similar results in just a few minutes. They’re only really available from June to August, and IMO they’re a lot better than your typical sweet onion. Vidalias don’t even compare.

Indeed. Stay away from Shelton unless you’re going to the drive-in. And the less said about Yelm, the better. If you want a taste of what Washington is like outside of the Puget Sound metropolis, go about 30 miles south of Olympia on I-5 and look for the Uncle Sam billboard which has been displaying far-right whack-a-doodle talking points ever since the current owner’s father got peeved at the Eisenhower administration for running the freeway through the middle of his land.

All true followers of the Great Pumpkinhead know that the anointment is done with ketchup.

Special sauce.

Oh, so that’s why. I just assumed his mother was scared by an Ed Anger column.

Joey Gilbert, who lost the Nevada Republican gubernatorial primary by double digit percentages, is suing, claiming his loss was a mathematical impossibility. He knows that because the “mathematical expert” who claims the 2020 Presidential election was won by Individual 1 due to the mathematical impossibility that Biden won.

The “mathematical expert” is a YouTube conspiracy theorist who doesn’t have a math degree and installs swing sets for a living.

Who are you gonna believe, this YouTube guy, or those elitists of Big Math?

The thing I don’t get about all these wingnuts is that they’re claiming all kinds of fraud in races against other Republicans. Doesn’t this undercut the validity of the winners’ wins and potentially hurt them in the general? (Not that I mind.) Why doesn’t the party tell them to STFU?

The answer is “wingnuts.”

Presumably they did (at least in private), but they have no way to force them to.

Well, Kandiss Taylor lost her primary for Georgia governor by more than 70 points and still claimed election fraud. So in case you’re wondering how big a loss a Trumpist needs to suffer in order to accept that they lost, 70 points is not the correct answer.

Swing sets teach you physics! That’s math!

They’re whinging about reality not bending to their will, even in the primaries.

“Everybody’s a RINO but me and thee, and I’m not so sure about thee.”

Could be fun…

Bill before the South Carolina legislature would make it illegal for websites to tell how to get an abortion,

So how do they plan to enforce that on websites that don’t originate in South Carolina?

Same way China, Russia and other totalitarian countries do.

Make the site inaccessible in South Carolina? What about VPNs?

The party of small government… small enough to comfortably fit inside your vagina.

It’s become GOP Virtue Signalling at this point. There’s no way a Republican can lose other than via fraud, so every loss is fraudulent, even against other Republicans.

I guess the ultimate notion is, “Hey, if they can fix the Republican Primaries so that I lost, of course they can fix the general election so that the Republican candidate loses!”

As the lawsuit explained it:

Gilbert on Friday filed a lawsuit on Friday in Carson City seeking to overturn his loss. The suit claims that Lombardo’s win is a “mathematical impossibility.” Once the results are “statistically corrected,” said a copy of the complaint obtained by The Nevada Independent, will show “with irrefutable geometric finality” that Gilbert won by more than 55,000 votes.

This evidence will prove that he won the election, and solve the riddle of the missing strawberries.
