NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

Ignorance fought! /s

For certain values of “ignorance”

Seriously, I’ve been arguing with Conspiracy Theorists for so long now, it’s not all that difficult to figure out what they’re likely to say next. I used to do online comics mocking them, and it was honestly difficult at times to come up with something sufficiently ridiculous that it was clear it was intended as comedy. More than once, I just literally quoted one of them as the punchline.

Steve Bannon says when the Republicans take back the House, there are going to be lots of oversight committees, to investigate the Biden administration, and to investigate the FBI’s and DHS’s involvement in 1/6.

There probably will be.

The Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota called his Democratic opponent a savage. She is a Native American.

“Republicans would take offensive action if they took back the House.” All of their actions recently have been offensive. What would change?

“Yesterday, WCCO interviewed Birk in regards to his comments and he said, “Savage is a word I used all the time. If someone is gonna get offended by that due to their Indigenous culture—you know, look, I guess I apologize.”

At least he’s not even trying to be sincere.

But if the GOP batted one for 62 in election fraud lawsuit successes (with a number of those judges not exactly being on “our side”), then I’m not sure how concerned I should be with whatever luck they might have in whatever future “investigations” the GQP might try to pull out of their asses.

The result of the investigations would not be the goal.

Sure, I get that, but then to, what, just rile up Don’s base, then? (Isn’t he always attempting that?)

“I got a better idea. How about you fuck off and die?”

“Oh, is that her name? All her signs say ‘Flanagan.’ Yeah, I’d be okay with the first part, I guess.”

There’s also the idea that, say, “suspected traitors” can wear that label forever even if no evidence is ever found.

I hope this kind of bullshit is taken into account when his sentencing hearing occurs.

Marge Greene says the Republican Party should be for Christian nationalists.

Isn’t this the same loon who believes President Obama is Muslim? Yeah, she’s really great at that whole identifying Christians thing.

The weird thing, to me, is that Birk is a Harvard grad. I usually expect more from a Harvard grad. I guess that nutcases can go to just about any college.

The goal is that one the one side we have clear evidence that the president of the united states sewed chaos putting lives at risk in a concerted effort to retain power despite losing a fair election, on the other hand the Democrats don’t like Trump, Hunter Biden name dropped his dad to get a job, and if you ignore the mail in ballots Trump won by a landslide in 2020. So the conclusion is both sides are equally bad.

Or they could just call themselves the Nationalist Party. I know a good nickname that would fit.

Nitpick: “sowed.”

Is it sowed or sewed?

Answer: a. Explanation: Sewing is stitching something together, like a tailor sews two pieces of fabric or a doctor sews a nasty cut. Sowing, on the other hand, is planting, as in putting seeds in the ground that you hope will grow.

I’ll ignore the other things in your post that need correcting.

I’ve seen people recently calling them “Nat-Cs”. Say it out loud.

I did not see that coming.
