Considering that Kansas’ SOS is a Republican, running for re-election on a ‘safe and secure elections’ platform, I’m leaning toward an honest recount. An appreciable discrepancy between the count and recount would not be a good look for him.
I live in one of the counties that will be recounted. I have full confidence in our local officials to conduct an open and transparent election. I believe the recount will prove this.
