Isn’t that just the standard way of making a trophy piece out of a flag? I wouldn’t assume any connection to the military.
It seems that this lack (or avoidance) of military service is not unique to Donald Trump. For three generations, Trump’s paternal line has neither offered nor performed any military service, voluntarily or through the draft. They all chose not to contribute their services to the U.S. military, the most patriotic and honorable manner in which to display one’s patriotism and love of country.
It could be Kimberly’s dad. Looks like he was in the Army. But I’d assume it was just a prop or some tangentially stolen valor.
While looking for that, I also learned that Trump’s dad wore a Hitler mustache after the war, because of course he did.
I wonder what people in Jamaica think of that.
