I suppose that at his advanced age, Pat Robertson is starting to worry that he won’t live to be Raptured. So perhaps it’s understandable that he’d do his best to instigate massively-widespread death and destruction, to guarantee that he’s not done out of his ‘fly up to see Jesus’ dream.

I wonder if American evangelical’s have any real awareness of the various Orthodox churches? The Orthodox each have a hierarchy, but so do Lutheran’s and Methodist’s and those churches generally make the grade.
And the Orthodox definitely don’t kowtow to the Whore of Babylon that is the Church of Rome, so they’re probably in the “OK but keep a close watch” category.
If they had any real awareness, they wouldn’t be Evangelicals.
