NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

I imagine it will be more of the Catholic priests or boy scout leader types. You know, people with the most impeccable moral standards when it comes to kids.

I like the idea, but it could be a tough act to pull off.

“The Little Antichrist” was one of his most well-known roles. The bowler hat, the mustache, the pitchfork, the horns. Comedy genius!

Online hucksters have been conning Loser Donald’s fans into spending thousands of dollars on worthless “Trump bucks” that will supposedly be worth millions when he makes them the official US currency.

From the link above

Repeated attempts to reach a spokesperson for Trump and his re-election campaign by email have gone unanswered. No evidence suggests the alleged scammers are connected to Trump or his re-election campaign.

Actually I would say that this is pretty good evidence that the scammers are are linked to Trump in some way. If he wasn’t getting his taste he would have sued them to high heaven.

Well, well, well…

GOP’s Chuck Grassley admits his ‘criminal scheme’ allegations against Joe Biden may be false

The rest of the article is pretty interesting. And, of course, the jackass still tries to make himself look like he’s fighting for Truth, Justice, and the American Way:

“The question is what did the FBI do with that information. That’s what Senator Grassley would like to illuminate.”

In theory, could Biden sue him over this? Not at all advocating the idea (Joe has much bigger issues right now).

Apparently not. If he could, he’d’ve already dragged Perjury Traitor Greene into court for her false accusations.

Grassley is likely protected by the Speech or Debate clause of the Constitution.

Was this statement,
and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.?
'Cause I see this “issued a joint statement” which ain’t what’s covered IMHO.

The clause has been interpreted by courts to apply to any statement made in the Representative or Senator’s official capacity.

MAGAdiot who filmed himself destroying Pride merch at Target turns out to have a Grindr account.

If I were a sociopathic homophobe seeking opportunities to terrorize a gay man, I might go on Grindr myself.

To be clear, I do NOT assert that to be this dingus’s motivation. But it WOULD mitigate the dissonance of his membership.

Alternatively if I was a self hating closeted gay person, surrounded by homophobes I might act out publicly against homosexuals to establish my credentials with my social group, while sometimes giving into urges by trolling Grinder.

Also not a conclusive assertion.

The status of “dingus” OTOH seems pretty strongly supported.

If those two images are the entirety of the evidence, I wouldn’t conclude anything. There’s certainly a resemblance between the two pictures, but lots of people resemble each other, and I don’t know that there’s enough detail to be definitive.

That said, I’m not sure it’s even possible to be a straight homophobe any more, so if it is the same guy, it’s hardly surprising.

In a rare case of pigs flying, Ted Cruz speaks out against an anti-LBGT law, specifically the new law in Uganda that makes homosexuality punishable by death - and immediately gets pilloried by his own fans who want to kill the gays.

He hates competition.

Per news reports, one of his teenage daughters is bi (and attempted self-harm). So probably a classic case of a Republican who suddenly understands LGBT rights after it directly affects them.

You know what? Good for him.

I’m serious. I’ll never criticize someone for doing the right thing, even if they do it too late and for the wrong reasons. If I give them credit, there’s always a chance they’ll do it again, if only out of sheer Pavlovian reflex.
