NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

My source is an AP story that says it:

JD Vance runs a racist ad complaining about being called a racist for supporting WALL.

Tom Cotton claims that Ketanji Brown Jackson would have represented Nazis during the Nuremberg Trials. He neglects to mention that she was assigned representation of Guantanamo prisoners because she was a federal defense attorney and you take the jobs you’re assigned.

I wonder how he feels about John Adams representing British soldiers following the Boston Massacre.

As one of his justifications for the Don’t Say Gay bill, Ron DeSantis tells a story of a child in Leon County, whom he claims was assigned a male identity by his school. Turns out the child’s parents sent an email to the school asking them to accommodate the child’s preferred gender, then turned around and sued the school for following their request.

I wonder if he’s asked Jared and Ivanka.

Apparently, his wife is one of Ivanka Trump’s best friends, and the two couples were known to vacation together.

Actually, now she’s his ex-wife, and it looks like Abramovich transferred some assets to her recently. There is some speculation that was done to protect them from sanctions.

Throw sanctions on her as well. All assets of Russians with property or businesses in the US should be seized. This should include relatives of Russians.

Seize it all, seize their cars, the cloths off their backs, every last matryoshka doll. Seize the children’s piggy banks. Every. Single. Thing. Let them go to court to get anything back. Tie it up as long as possible. I want to see these people under the bridges begging for nickles.

Speaking of stupid Republicans, what became of the magatruckers circling D.C.? Did they accomplish their moronic goal, whatever the fuck it was? I just don’t hear about those clowns anymore.

The House proposed a simple non-binding resolution asking Biden to support NATO and its commitment to protecting democracy.

63 House Republicans voted against it. Usual suspects, of course, included. Gaetz, Greene, Boebert.

Their goal was to get money from rubes to pay for them to drive around all day and party all night.

That’s pretty much it. The ones in my neck of the woods are all unemployed alcoholics who found a way to get a free camping spot and someone to pay for their booze.

From Rich_Kitchen’s link:

Others, however, defended the advertisement, including U.S. Representative Jim Banks, an Indiana Republican, who praised Vance as “the most articulate America First candidate in the USA.”

He may be right. That’s a mighty low bar there.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is going to kidnap 50,000 undocumented immigrants, put them on 900 charter busses, drive them to the US Capitol and dump them off.

Oh, goodie! How will the people of Texas react when their governor gets arrested by the Feds for 25,000 counts of violating the Mann Act?

Applause?

Point.

There’s lots of talk on Twitter today about Congressman John Rose of Tennessee, who met his now-wife when she was 17 and he was 42. They met at a Future Farmers of America gathering.
And yet the Republican go-to word of the week is “grooming”.

Well, now we know why it is. They’re quite familiar with it.

Did they actually get the money, though? Our Canadian Idiots mostly got screwed by the organizers, who kept all the money* collected, despite promises to pay the idiots’ expenses.

*Well, until all their accounts and GoFundMes were frozen by the courts.

Are we taking bets on how long it will be before all the “No one wants to work anymore!” posts start, when 50,000 people suddenly don’t show up for work?

They will probably need to hire undocumented immigrants to have enough drivers for the busses.

That’s actually a great idea!

They won’t have to pay them to drive the busses back, just dump them off as well.
