Congressslime Thomas Massie thinks people have the right to own nuclear and biological weapons.
I was the first to offer up my face to be eaten!
Of course, if 12.4% of Americans think they’re oppressed, it’s just crybaby bullshit.
I looked up groveling sniveling spineless toad in the dictionary…
QAnon crazy who claims that she can time travel so she knows that Individual 1 will be reinstated, and who was convicted of fraud for raising money for fire victims but kept it for herself (and then did it again by raising money for veterans but kept it for herself) is running for Secretary Qf State (her spelling) in Ohio. She says she will remove all election machines, replace them with pen and paper, and televise the vote count.
I’m pretty sure the leopards won’t eat what’s left of my face!
Here’s something I was unfamiliar with, and haven’t seen on any news outlet.
I knew that the Republicans had passed legislation – the Unfunded Pension Liabilities Act – in 2006 requiring the Post Office to pre-fund its retiree benefits for 70 years into the future. No other government agency has or had to do such an absurd thing. It cost the Post Office $5 billion per year.
I originally thought that this was just another Republican roadblock intended to pave the way for the privatization of the postal service. But it turns out that there was a more immediate goal to this bill – it prevented the replacement of postal vehicles with electric and hybrid vans, which Post Office officials were saying that they were planning on doing. The dead-of-night legislation blindsided the Post office and cut this off at the knees.
This is relevant now because Biden has revived the idea of the postal service buying electric vehicles.as cost-effective and clean alternatives. But our Postmaster Louis De Joy refuses to even consider that – he’s committed to buying gasoline-powered vehicles.
Shouldn’t we have gotten rid of this guy by now? I though Biden installed two new members on the Post Office Board.
This is addressed in the article you cited.
Because Republican senators are holding up confirmation of Biden’s Postal Board of Governors’ appointees, DeJoy can’t be fired by the current Trump-appointee-dominated board, a fact that Senator Sheldon Whitehouse pointed out last week, demanding the Senate move the Democratic nominees forward over GOP objections.
But DeJoy is itching to sign the contract for all those gas and diesel vehicles, and he still has the power to do so.
You joke, but way back when, there was one a friend showed me. A guy goes camping in Northern Canada, and digs a hole to get off with. The one line I remember is, “I was fucking Canada…”
Please tell me people are pronouncing that “queef”.
I say do all elections by a show of hands. With all the drones and satellites-- have people stand out in the street, raise their hands, take pictures, and count everyone. No way to fake that, amirite?
Yes, and if you vote wrong, the drone drops a wee (too Trumpian) tiny bomb on you.
Two birds, done and dusted and all that.
And that if 30-40% of people can agree that there’s tyranny, they should be afforded the right to violently overthrow the government.
When do we get to use the… powers of impeachment to get dangerous people like this out of Congress?
Did she think of England?
Here’s the wonderful thing about revolutions. If you really have 30-40% of the population ready to engage in violent revolution, and all agreeing on what that means, they don’t need to be “afforded” anything, they can just start the war.
That was a cry of exasperation, not a request for information.
Will no one rid us of this turbulent Postmaster?
Is she under the impression that people can write legible and intelligible replies for the vote?
She IS a Crazy.
Holy hell, if she can time travel then she’s a lock. If she goes forward in time and finds that she lost the election, she can find out why and correct things!
She finds out it’s because she’s crazy, which she can’t fix [/TwilightZone]
Correct?? She can get rid of the people who voted against her.
