NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 2)

Senator Ron Johnson says that the covid vaccine might cause AIDS, and all of the people pushing it should be criminally charged.

Congresswoman Victoria Spartz from Indiana is voted the worst boss in Congress.

Lousiana may be going all in

with a bill that would attach murder charges to harm done to any fertilized egg. This could in theory outlaw IUDs and in vitro fertilization.

Donny One-Scoop wants to know why bombing Mexico is a bad idea.

By next week I expect “Bomb Mexico and blame it on Jyna” to be a GOP campaign promise for the midterms.

That would criminalize a miscarriage.

To them, that’s a feature, not a bug.

Your point?

What if doctors’ offices or labs destroy frozen embryos? Murder, of course.

I guess my only point is that the Louisianna bill is fucking idiotic.

Hopefully it comes back to bite them in the ass and bites them hard. Some legislator’s mistress and the legislator get hauled up on capital charges.

Yeah, I knew that. Of course, the bill IS idiotic. @Smapti made the point that my terse comment failed to make.

As has been mentioned elsewhere, Justice A Covid Barret has opined that the country is in need of a domestic supply of infants to service the high demand for those wanting to adopt, but women being allowed to terminate their pregnancies has caused this source to dry up, so we need to fix that.

C’mon, they had a whole system of harvesting children from families crossing the southern border, wasn’t that enough?

Added this to the “Evil” thread too. Me, I’d consider mandatory vasectomies for Republiquan male children and castration for adult males. Just consider mind you.

xkcd has a pretty good idea of what a crisis pregnancy center is:

Those weren’t white babies, you silly person.

More electoral hijinks from the Democrats. Just kidding, it’s the Stupid Republicans again.

There are reports that some states plan to access information from apps that track women’s periods:

Oh brave new world…

Arizona Senate candidate joins in on banning contraception.

You just know that with all these attempts to legislate the country back into before 1865, their ultimate goal is to make slavery legal again.

I don’t remember where I saw it, likely on these boards, but the best description I ever heard about the far right’s whining about Blacks remembrance of the horrors of slavery was this response from Blacks:

“The good old days” were not good, and they’re gladly gone. Not that the rightwingnuts won’t keep trying to bring them back, with all the horrors they had.
