Commentators are pointing out that he must have deliberately sought out an expensive gas station since the mean price of diesel in OK is $3.95 - and, in fact, the mean price of regular unleaded is under $3, so it’s his own fault for buying a gas-guzzler.
Yes, I’m sure a congressman has lots of shit to tow/haul around. Tons of Bullshit, that is.

To listen to right-wingers, Biden just sits at his desk in the Oval Office, and signs an executive order that says he’s going to raise the price of gas by $1 a gallon. Just for S&G. Sticking it to the MAGAts, and all that, or somesuch.
Of course, he’s not. He doesn’t control world oil prices any more than I do. But they believe he does. And that’s the sticking point. “Gas is more expensive! It’s Biden’s fault!”
As an aside, why do they think Biden controls world oil prices? Those are set on world markets, under the laws of supply and demand, and Biden can do nothing about them.
Also, why are Americans so obsessed with the price of gasoline? (“Under Trump, gas was $2.50 a gallon. Now, under Biden, it’s $3.50! It’s Biden’s fault!”) The price of gas is what it is, set by world markets and the buying power of local markets, at least to the rest of us in the first world, where we’re paying $5 or more per US gallon. I think there are things, such as low gas prices, that Americans should be be thankful for, and better things to be concerned with.

Because they have also been sold the lie that America is not energy-independent and it’s because Biden shut down the oil fields.
There’s several levels of wrong to this, but I wouldn’t say it’s a crazy conspiracy theory, it’s just a thing that if you haven’t thought about, seems reasonable. i.e. “Didn’t the Dems stop a pipeline, and couldn’t we choose our own fuel price if we produced all our oil domestically?”
I had an Asst Dist. Atty tell an entire room of Grand Jurors that legalizing cannabis is bad because it prevents the police from getting illegal guns off the street.
You see, prior to legalization, when cops “smell marijuana” they have the right to rifle through a person’s car or belongings, and sometimes find an illegal gun. What I think this ADA forgot is that we’re supposed to make things illegal because they’re bad or dangerous, not to give police an excuse to search someone.
I have no idea if this ADA was a Republican, though.
Those poor dogs! If they’re out of work how will they support their families?

Stupid anecdote. We have 15 people coming for Thanksgiving and got a 24lb turkey. Every time I walk by it, I’m like, “That’s a big damn bird.” I mentioned it to my 70 year old MIL and she scoffed at me. Apparently growing up, they never had less than a 35lb turkey. They once had a 50lb one that broke the oven rack. Things were farmier back then though, and I’m chalking it up to turkeys being properly raised rather than it being a mass production industry.
Higher gas prices, smaller turkeys-- thanks, Biden! 
We pay a fortune for our turkey, but it’s a humanely raised bird raised locally. It is being killed even as we speak and when we pick him up he’ll still be warm.
Honestly, I’d just as soon get a supermarket turkey, but my gf is the one who runs Thanksgiving.
