This exactly. Remember the lead problem in Flint? It started when the water commission changed the source of their drinking water with no testing and no expert opinion; the new source was treated with chemicals that reacted to the existing lead; the problem was exacerbated by the government ignoring the problem. Had they done proper testing and treated the new source properly (probably negating all of the cost savings from changing sources), there wouldn’t have been a problem.
It’s things like that Med-bed scam that cause me to believe in my position that it should be legal to separate the stupid from their money.

These are plucked straight out of the movie Elysium (and probably other places) which at first I found ironic given that movie is a thinly veiled commentary on the Evils of our current immigration system, something which Conservatives would despise. But then I realized that they envision these cards giving them the elite status of Elysium citizens where they passive enjoy the suffering of the lowly dregs who are left below.

I was not able to find out who that guy was, but in the process of looking I stumbled on the mother lode of stupid.
Someone - and I’m pretty sure it’s the same someone - is offering a whole lot of Trump adjacent cards………medical emergency cards, pension cards, benefit cards, access cards, elite access cards, reservation cards, key cards, Q cards, gold silver and black cards, with prices ranging from a few hundred bucks to several thousand dollars.
There are all memorabilia only, none of them have any function other than “decorate your wallet” or “ show your patriotism”.

Just looking at a random example they are selling the Tax Free Ruby card for only $4,999 that is 70% off the regular price of $13,600 (well actually 63% off actually but as a Trump supporter we’re pretty sure you can’t do math) and you get 400 slots which is only $10 a slot (well $12.50 but whose counting) . What are these slots you’re buying? No idea, they don’t say anywhere on the website. But you get 400 of them! Or for only $1,991 more you can get unlimited slots at $6990 a whopping 80% (actually 65%) savings off of the regular price of 20,000!
I suspect that these slots somehow let you link this card to some of your other cards so that maybe you can whip out this card to impress your date while the money is really coming out of your nearly over drawn J.C. pennies card. No idea why someone would need to link 400 cards to it.
I’m also really curious as to why they lied about the percentages. Given that the $20,000 price tag was obviously fabricated out of thin air, you think they could have just as easily fabricated the number up to $35,000 so they would actually be giving the card %80 off. Maybe the extra lie adds to their authenticity as a Trump product.
ETA: I suppose that this could be a useful product for credit card scammers. Buy 400 credit card numbers off the deep web attach them to the card then use them randomly. But you would think that the credit card companies would figure this out pretty quick, and I am going way beyond on my speculation based on no actual description as to how the cards work.
I don’t think the cards even have that much functionality.
My thought was that maybe they give you a free holder for your collection of Trump cards, and “slots” refers to the number of slots in the free holder.
