Infighting, leopards eating faces, and someone is going to steal all the money.

No, that’s Alice’s Restaurant.

I hate Virginia Nazis.
This has been in planning for awhile now, I suspect. It’s their big election year political stunt, and it was plotted by John Eastman and Stephen Balch over two years ago. The scheme was published in the website American Greatness. Some excerpts from the article
A governor might mobilize state law enforcement and national guard units to take up positions at commonly used crossing points, and simply turn back illegal entrants, or place them in state holding centers from which they would be returned by air or other conveyance to the countries from which they entered. Equipped with a more robust constitutional mandate, eminent domain could also be used to acquire land at or near the border to erect walls and place other impediments to unauthorized entry. And this shouldn’t be by unilateral gubernatorial action, but done in concert, if at all possible, with the relevant state legislatures.
Supporters could be directed to the borders, where they would demonstrate and provide cheer and comforts to the police and guardsmen. Demonstrations would also be mounted in major cities, making this a high intensity, media saturating, citizen-involved campaign.
Nothing but an election year stunt, pure and simple.
I’m reminded of a classic Onion article;
Assuming the convoy gets to the border (given the problems already mentioned in this thread), it will be filled with trigger-happy doofi who are so anxious to shoot some brown people that they are virtually guaranteed to commit actual crimes.
Whether or not Local Law Enforcement is willing to, you know, enforce the law, will be a crucial indicator of what we can expect this coming November–that is, LLE who will assist MAGA in committing political violence, or LLE who will actually adhere to laws.
They are going to be awfully confused when they see that some of the police officers there are… brown.
I am extremely excited to learn that we took out ISIS “really quick.” But I wonder why we didn’t publicize that at the time.
Today’s highlights; Very Stable Genius claims that 98% of people would fail a dementia test, claims he’s been treated worse than Lincoln, says he got Mexico to send “two thousand twenty eight thousand” troops to the border, declares that “Februarer” is coming soon, says he will bring “peace through Earth”, claims to have invented the word “caravan”, and says he can’t have dementia because he has the “same genes” as his uncle.
(He presumably also has the same genes as his dad, who died with Alzheimer’s.)
You know, you could do us the favor of using text-link things so that we do not have to scroll past two dozen renditions of that festering gob. If we actually wanted to look at that face, it would take less than 3 clicks from any starting point to accidentally land on a page thusly decorated. Less of him is what we crave.
Contrary opinion. I like the video evidence of failures. I didn’t view them but nice to know I could if I suffer a near fatal stroke and need a reference to prove I’m “not that bad.”
Excuse me for believing that people who click on a Pit thread about stupid Republican ideas would want to see what ideas the stupidest of all Republicans has been espousing.
The only offensive thing here is referring to whatever that loon traitor blathers as ideas.
Conveniently, on mobile, the “play” button usually masks his carrot face, so I didn’t even notice it.
I do however have a group of hippie friends who work with ex-convicts on teaching small scale sustainable farming methods.
So there is one thing I can agree with Trump on, “Peace through earth”.
Granted, they use a lot of horse shit as manure, so that is another link to the idiot.
To be fair, he says only about 2% “in this room” could pass the dementia test. Which, given that he’s speaking to a roomful of MAGAts, is probably just about right.
Also, I think he genuinely does not understand what the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Test does, or what it measures, or what it is used for.
Someone likely told him it was an IQ test, and he really believes that. He may not be a candidate for a locked dementia ward (yet), but he’s really, REALLY fundamentally stupid.
It’s to test off your Canadian? Or should I say Canadien?
If he passed that, it would indicate significant niceness and stoicism, which beggars belief.
