This one’s stupid and evil, but I decided to post it here: A convoy of hundreds of people, calling themselves “Take Our Border Back,” plans to head to the Texas border to stop migrants crossing into the country from Mexico.
As one article puts it:
The convoy is due to begin on Monday, starting at Virginia Beach, Virginia and three rallies will be held in San Ysidro, California, Yuma, Arizona, and Eagle Pass, Texas on February 3.
They claim they’re going to protest peacefully, but also that they’ll be armed and work with sympathetic law enforcement. That’s their rather threadbare figleaf.
Revealing among their twisted brethren what they actually intend, one of their organizers also said:
“That’s what Green Berets do. Unconventional warfare is our bread and butter. Now we’re doing domestic internal defense.”
“What gets us to the enemy quickly is to find, fix, and finish, exploit, analyze, and disseminate,” referring to a military process. “That’s what we did in Syria when we took out ISIS really quick.”
We’re talking about desperate poor people, many families with children, trying to escape horrible circumstances and willing to be productive members of society if we let them. Just like the forebearers of these lunatics did as immigrants, before the “golden door” went from mostly open to nearly shut in the 1920s. But these psychopaths, adhering to cargo-cult Americanism that worships the trappings but opposes the actual substance of what this nation stands for and aspires to, refer to being “besieged on all sides by dark forces of evil.” Evil? EVIL?! A bunch of people who want no more than generations of immigrants before them, to be taxpaying useful workers and eventually citizens, to have a place to raise a family and live in peace!
Fuckers! You’re not “God’s Army”! Your Christianity is as cargo-cult as your Americanism! You clearly didn’t absorb the lessons from either the Old Testament that “When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt.” or the New Testament that “I was a stranger and you invited me in.”
Your efforts aren’t “biblical”, you damn well aren’t “peacemakers”, and your efforts should be damned for all time, not “blessed”!
