And how exactly is that deposit of triglycerides, that cannelloni graveyard, that inchoate mass of fat and tasteless clothing, going to catch, let alone defeat, anyone so he can eat their flesh? is he under the delusion that anybody is going to do what he says once money ceases to have any value?.
Ask and ye shall receive. Which is something that Alex Jones would gladly leap upon and wallow in.
Well, I had just finished emptying the litter box, so my mind was already preoccupied with such matters.
…
The key elements of the “Great Reset” conspiracy, as analysed in the Guardian, are that the “global elite is using COVID-19 as an opportunity to roll out radical policies, such as forced vaccination, digital ID cards and the renunciation of private property.”What was first a marginal conspiracy theory confined to the fringes of the web has, since November 2020, become a disinformation ecosystem in itself.
This is in part thanks to amplification from right-wing US media figures including Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson. Both have appropriated elements of the “Great Reset” theory as proof of a plot to erode freedoms and capitalism.
…
…typical government red tape, causing four years of delays…
And now they have stupid ideas all for themselves!
“Yep, let’s stop encouraging our voters to use mail-in ballots. I’m sure that won’t have any effect on the number of elderly people voting, who just happen to be the demographic that favors us the most.”
When Trump loses, I really hope someone studies how much of an effect this was in causing that loss.
But Trump will still vote by mail, right?
“As I’m on the record saying in the past, what happened in Sandy Hook was an absolute tragedy. I am not and have never been of the opinion that the events did not take place,” Rodgers wrote on the platform.
Really? Not even in 2013?
CNN knows of two people with whom Rodgers has enthusiastically shared these stories, including with Pamela Brown, one of the journalists writing this piece.
Brown was covering the Kentucky Derby for CNN in 2013 when she was introduced to Rodgers, then with the Green Bay Packers, at a post-Derby party. Hearing that she was a journalist with CNN, Rodgers immediately began attacking the news media for covering up important stories. Rodgers brought up the tragic killing of 20 children and 6 adults by a gunman at Sandy Hook Elementary School, claiming it was actually a government inside job and the media was intentionally ignoring it.
When Brown questioned him on the evidence to show this very real shooting was staged, Rodgers began sharing various theories that have been disproven numerous times.
You have a history of JAQing off about 9/11 and we’re supposed to believe you’ve never done the same about Sandy Hook?
One wonders how people think the same government that’s taken over 20 years to implement Real ID is going to spring an entirely new global digital ID system on everyone overnight.
Volume!
I fucking missed that! Was I supposed to do something? Hit a button, switch something off and on?
Close every window in the country, and turn it off and back on again.
But you have to wait 15 seconds before you turn it back on!
They don’t want to win elections. They want to seize power undemocratically. They have the Orwellian notion of power, that it doesn’t count as power unless you’re forcing things people don’t want on them.
Well, they would like to win elections but they seem to have concluded that a better path to the power they crave is vote suppression/intimidation in battleground states and discreet support of third parties who might bleed votes from Biden.
It’s not so much about getting Donald to 270 as it is keeping Joe from getting to 270. MAGA wants this to go to the state legislatures. But, yeah, they don’t care if 60% of the country opposes them if they can chicanery their way to the White House.
There’s some clips online that show parts of this (with obnoxious captions), but here’s the original, cued up (to 10:42), it’s worth watching just for the comedic value.
Look on the bright side(s):
-
Rodgers never denied that the shooting in Sandy Hook didn’t happen, a la Alex Jones, he just thinks (or thought) that it was orchestrated by the government. Big difference.
-
Rodgers now appears to believe that it will be more popular to accept the conventional narrative of Sandy Hook than to deny it. It might be a vote-getter, if he was running for something.
I think the RNC have backed themselves into a corner. They can lean into Trump, knowing he’ll take all their money or they can distance themselves, knowing that if he runs as an independant, he’ll (further) split the party and risk handing the win to Biden.
They’re fucked, either way, if he loses and not that much better off if he wins.
I’m surprised they’re backing him. Surely they could find someone equally as evil but not nearly as stupid.
Interestingly, at least one bar in Milwaukee has already said they’re going to close while the RNC is in town. I have to assume other’s will do the same.
It’s going to really hurt if the professional ladies decide to boycott the RNC. That’s the reason most of them go to this, isn’t it?
From the history files, the 2008 RNC in Minneapolois:
“Republican Convention Party Entertainment – Hostesses wanted,” reads the headline of one “erotic services” ad from the Minneapolis area on Craig’s List, the popular classified-ad Web site.
“Jump down, turn around, pick a bale of cotton.”
Even whores have gotta have some standards.
Well, some of them go to it for the professional gentlemen.
