It’s probably just the Old Testament and all the god references have been changed to don with a sharpie.
I just want to shake these fucking bastards pushing these stupid conspiracy theories. Are accidents no longer possible in their world? It’s maddening and scary and I have no idea how to fight this treacherous maga movement.
I have an acquaintance who has gone off the conspiracy deep end and immediately started with “there are lots of questions, suspicious things…” posts about this.
The odd thing is that he works in an aircraft repair job; there was no conspiracy when the tug crashed into his client’s winglet, or a bird hit the windshield, or whatever, so why would this have to be one?
Zero critical thinking. I used to like this guy but I’ve lost so much respect for him over this and other posts over the past couple of years.
He freed some of his slaves in the 1830s, paying one as his farm foreman … He publicly criticized slavery and gave free legal representation to some slaves seeking freedom
Imagine that! Having slaves, and then just giving them away? And paying them for the privilege?!?!
LIES!!! He wrote the theme song celebrating American Revolutionary forces assaulting and capturing British air bases during the War of Independence. /s
A little problem in Idaho, a hotbed of diversity and inclusion. The Governor is shocked, Idahoians aren’t like that.
I’m sure some of the peopke are nice.
I love it every time one of these supposed “pro-life” supporters demonstrates that they don’t actually care about life unless they get to control a woman’s body in the process.
Hey evil/stupid, it’s all on the same continuum as far as Republicans are concerned.
Yes, but maintaining the proper ratio is important. You need both Evil and Stupid to succeed, but if the ratio drops below 1, the stupid begins to self-defeat the evil.
Come think about it, a stupid/evil ratio might be a more useful measure in practice.
Maybe. That was a half joke I made in my previous post. But yeah it seems like, not all of it, but a significant portion of the evil directly leads out of stupid assumptions. (“Stupid” here meaning, racist, misogynistic, fascist, etc…) and yeah those assumptions should be described as evil too. It’s just part of the same milieu with this group.
And to be fair I sometimes lose track of which thread I’m in as well. The same discussions and news stories seem to pop up in both threads.
