I don’t know what the source is but I have a claim that there were “flashes”* along the steelwork when the bridge fell.
*You know, as in “demolition charges being set off” bullshit.
Actually, if you watch the videos, you can see flashes of some kind where the ends of the bridge sections break apart. I have no idea what caused them, but they’re probably electrical sparks from cables breaking.
But they look nothing like the flashes you see during controlled demolition, which are very brief, and happen before the destruction starts, not while it is going on.
There you go, bringing facts into it again!

Edit to add, I’ve written plenty about these lifted truck a’holes in my area. They are coal rolling, confederate and gadsden flag flying pricks. I see it often. This was the one thing that saved us from utter devastation during the CFSG term. When I took the train from Seattle to Chicago last year, I found it humorous that the train only makes one stop in Idaho and it’s at 3 AM. Even Amtrak wants to get out of there as fast as possible and without anyone noticing.

The exact and direct meaning of that flag is, and always has been, “I am so devoted to the notion that people are property that I am willing to take up arms against my nation and my state to defend that notion”. That’s the message that flag was created to convey.
If you want a symbol of “southern heritage”, what you’re looking for is bowl of grits.
And, for that matter, what other region needs a flag to show pride in their “heritage”?* New Englanders and Midwesterners might have some pride about their regions, but they don’t have flags, and you never hear them complaining about their “heritage” being erased.
*Oh yeah – Texas.

The clip then cuts to a slightly different angle, presumably some time later, in which a security officer is seen speaking with the Republican politician from a distance. As seen in the comments from the Reddit user who claims to have recorded the exchange, Cruz apparently said something along the lines of, “Don’t you know who I am?”
He also reportedly “demanded to speak to a manager about a dozen times.”

In an updated comment hours after posting, the Reddit user wrote that the politician made “thinly veiled threats towards the employment of the people involved. Demanding their names and threatening to call corporate.”
I’m sure if someone asked Cruz what this was about he would claim he’s protecting himself from “extremist antifas” or some other BS.
I’m fairly certain he probably sees the leopards circling and is not sure when they’ll be coming for him. For all of his MAGAT embracing they know he is from the old guard in the gop. He’ll be removed at some point probably sooner than later.
