You would think that wouldn’t you?
There’s a reason “all black people look alike” is a well-worn racist trope.

Could it have been the police escort for the bus?
If it was a green light for a left turn, sure. More telling is “Right turn allowed on red.”
It’s clearly a signal to start the Green New Deal and destroy millions of American jobs.
Never heard that one, before–truly epic! (With apologies to our Texan posters, who of course are clearly exceptions to this meme.)
Which fits right in with the Stupid theme of this thread. As in: lacking sufficient brainpower, they simply can’t think up an original accusation. They’re forced to resort to ‘duuhhh, I do this, so I’ll say THEY do it.’
Luckily they do enough illicit, illegal, and immoral stuff that they’re never short of material.
It’s the “I know you are, but what am I?” approach, a respected debating technique that dates back to Plato and Socrates.
Okay, now I have the Chad Mitchell Trio running through my head:
Oh, we’re meetin’ at the courthouse at eight o’clock tonight,
You just come in the door and take the first turn to the right.
Be careful when you get there, we’d hate to be bereft
But we’re takin’ down the names of everybody turnin’ left.
Uh, yeah, I think that the current President of the United States outshining people is… kind of normal, really?
Maddock refuses to admit he was wrong.
A spokesperson for Detroit’s airport authority said the buses were for college athletes who had flown in for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. But state Rep. Matt Maddock has doubled down.
“I haven’t heard a good answer yet,” he wrote in a text message to the AP. “I took a tip and asked because this is happening in many places and it is well documented.”
In other words, “people are saying”.
Eh, I’d have expected Obama to steal the show somewhat. He does have a lot of charisma.
Yep. Doubling down on stupid. And then they’re going to wonder why they lose so many elections and rather than looking at incidents like this they’ll just scream about more conspiracy theories.
All this time I was leaving just a smidgen of a benefit of a doubt that he was riding a poorly thought out joke, but no … the idiot was serious.
“I haven’t heard a good answer yet”: Translation, “Reality refuses to conform itself to my delusions”.

I’d be happy if they would start wondering why they lose elections. Of late, they don’t wonder at all; they’re convinced they won because of blahblahblah and therefore the other side stole the election.
R’s want to remove a requirement stating school superintendents must be licensed to be school superintendents. Something about ‘local control’ and making it easier to hire perfectly acceptable people that totally know how to run a school district with thousands of teachers , 10s of thousands of kids and ~2x10s of thousands of parents/guardians, just because they used to own a business or manage an office (“Being superintendent is like being the CEO of a company. One does not need to have spent a lifetime in the field to effectively manage the professionals working for you”). The Governor, naturally, vetoed it, but Rs happily took that opportunity to say that he only did that to make sure the local school boards can’t hire the candidate of their liking.
The governor’s reply:
“As a governor who is a father and grandfather and former educator, principal, superintendent, and state superintendent, I cannot sign a bill that could have us entrust one of our most precious responsibilities to any given individual whose only qualification is a mere passing interest in education,” Evers said in a statement.
“I object to allowing any individual who has no license, no education, no training, no experience, no specific skillsets, and virtually no qualifications whatsoever to not only become a school district administrator but to come into everyday contact with kids in our schools," he said.
I think it’s safe to assume they have a short list of people they’d like to installhire if they can get rid of this license requirement.
The governor said he vetoed the Republican-authored bill because of its lack of standards to be eligible to be hired to oversee a school district.
What state is that?
Wisconsin.
Trump Posts Image of Joe Biden Kidnapped And Bound With Rope
Some MAGA Republicans have been displaying this graphic depicting President Joe Biden bound with rope and laying in the bed of a pickup truck apparently kidnapped. Trump is now encouraging such imagery.
Trump loves using violent language like bloodbath and continues to encourage this sort of rhetoric and imagery
Apparently just before this post, he posted pictures of himself at the cop’s funeral and saying that we need to get back to ‘law and order’.

Because all you need is being able to threaten people’s jobs if they fail to do what you want?
