There’s a lot of Desantis/Florida DOE trying to blame this on the schools (for not falling into compliance and doing so over the next few days), but it boils down to this
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration has essentially barred a high school Advanced Placement psychology course in the state because it includes lessons on sexual orientation and identity that violate state law, the College Board said Thursday.
The state is saying they can still teach AP Psych, just without those topics. Part of that second article includes an almost ‘per my previous email’ link to a statement they made in June, where they said they made a mistake going down this rabbit hole with AP African American Studies.
The American Psychological Association have also stated that “any course that excludes these topics would violate their guidelines and should not be considered for college credit”
And American Council on Education says "It strains credulity to believe that our reviewers would certify for college credit a psychology course that didn’t include gender identity.”

Probably $150 a pound. Though I can guarantee you that the meat was not organic or grass-fed. Probably fudged on the size of the cut too.
That’s a tough one.
I only found one site (which I can’t find again, of course) but my math said that the $199 package worked out to about $56/lb, in 2007.
:shrug: I pay $36 a pound to a little local shop that has local beef. Best I’ve ever had. Better than any steak in a high end restaurant I’ve ever had. I won’t buy anything else. Well, maybe for stew.
