Ooo, I’ve got an idea… How about a nationwide ID card mandated at the Federal level. Republicans would be sure to like that, right?
Well, only for those who call themselves Democrats.
We’d need a toll-free nationwide registry number as well. Looks like area code 666 is available.
When the second and third digits of an area code are the same, that code is called an easily recognizable code (ERC) and assigned to specific services such as toll-free services.
If you receive a phone call from area code 666 it is a spam call. Any phone number such as 666-xxx-xxx does not exist.
Oh I dunno… it might be a phone call straight from hell.
Time for a remake of 976-EVIL.
There’s no way these people believe the things they’re saying.
Remember when everyone spent 10 years wearing ill-fitting suits with jackets they kept buttoned while sitting down with giant ties that dangled in front of their crotch? Remember those vacations we all went on in April 2020?
Real smart. Gift link.

“The next six months is going to be intense,” Ms. Lake said during a rally in Lake Havasu City. “We’re going to strap on our seatbelt. We’re going to put on our helmet — or your Kari Lake ball cap. We are going to put on the armor of God. And maybe strap on a Glock on the side of us just in case.”The crowd roared its approval, and she continued, “You can put one here,” gesturing to the side of her hip, “and one in the back or one in the front. Whatever you guys decide. Because we’re not going to be the victims of crime. We’re not going to have our Second Amendment taken away. We’re certainly not going to have our First Amendment taken away by these tyrants.”

None of this is based in reality. Who is the “THEY” she is taking about? Doesn’t matter to her audience, I guess.
Miller has enough trouble getting around without tearing his skin suit. What’s he know about fashion?
Come on now, that’s the one thing the Nazis were actually good at!
Well, that and the killing people stuff.
It’s a cult. Unfortunately, it’s a cult with some actual power.
Most cults have two levels; the true believers who actually think everything they’re saying is true, and the people who know it’s all bullshit and are just stringing the marks along for their own personal gain. These three are the latter.
Can Americans do anything without guns? Y’know go out for a bike ride, a picnic, a vacation at the lake, without being armed?
(Thank you, @ThelmaLou , for the gift link.)
2/3 of us do not own guns so yes, a majority of us do all those things without being armed.
Meanwhile, we have gun nuts who really, really do seem to need their gun to do anything. I’ve met people who won’t sit on their own front porch or mow the lawn without carrying. I know them but I generally avoid being near them when I can, for reasons that should be obvious.
Last summer when I went camping I do confess we had guns - because it was in bear country. Other than that, no, I certainly don’t wander around with a firearm stuck in my underwear.
Bunch of paranoid loons - that’s part of the reason that owning a gun makes you more likely to be injured or killed by a gun, bonkers people who carry them around when there’s no need, often in an unsafe manner.
Ya beat me to it.
Someone’s never camped at Camp Crystal Lake. Ah, the memories…
Survivor’s bias.
Buttcha could, ya know?

Put that way, it sounds goddammed patriotic!
They ought to add: “So when you come across some lily-livered bastard that needs shootin’, you’ll be able to do the job without breaking a fingernail!”
The site is fascinating… in a who knew?? kinda way.
I happen to know of a female resident here at The Home (she’s pushing 80) who carries. Also a guy in my church choir who does, too, causing one of our excellent tenors to stop attending. The woman is Jewish and a liberal. The guy is a big trumper (which I cannot reconcile with his attending an extremely liberal Episcopal church). There are many things around us today, folks that make our heads go .
FROM THE ONION
DUBLIN, CA—Seconds after the small red dot from a laser-sighted weapon appeared on a slice of complimentary focaccia, witnesses at local restaurant Berevino reported Tuesday they had seen sharpshooting mother Kathy Denton snipe the bread out of her daughter’s hands from 800 meters away. “Everyone be very careful—no sudden movements toward the bread basket,” said 31-year-old Moira Denton, covered in breadcrumbs from a silent blast that reportedly originated from a rooftop a half mile down the street, where her 54-year-old mother was watching through the scope of an M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle as part of a covert mission to protect her child from anything that might go straight to her hips. “It’s not safe for any of us to go near carbs when my mother is armed and within range."…
Okay, this cracked me up. I’m sick. So sue me.
