NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 3)

Sad news, everyone - Appliance Week has been cancelled after Republicans found out that voters actually expect them to, you know, govern instead of having votes on messaging bills based on fiction and which have zero chance of becoming law.

Crooked Joe Biden’s quest to rob you of your gas stove continues unabated.

This is maga - party before country, Trump uber alles.

Typical George Slopanopolis! \s (which admittedly is kinda fun to say)

Um, did I miss something? Stephanopoulos isn’t saying this crap-- it’s Sununu (which is also fun to say).

I prefer the time they put up pictures of Stephanopoulos and Snufleipagus side by side on The Tonight Show and said “Stphanopoulos - Snuffleupagus”

Years later the two met on Good Morning America, which proved that they were not the same person.

But which did nothing to quell the rumors that George is a muppet

Just don’t choose death by Sununu.

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised.

Pretty tough to watch. Not just the spinelessness, but him forcefully arguing all the reasons that Biden is bad: divisiveness and cancel culture. Because yeah, Biden won’t stop calling his opponents pedophiles, or different ethnicities “animals”, and book / history banning.

Then Snusnu hides behind (some) polls putting trump ahead.

Yeah because trash like you lie and gaslight the public.

Every time Republicans accuse Democrats of being “divisive”, I say “you could end the divisiveness right now by agreeing with them.”

When Democrats criticize neo nazis and other white supremists, they’re being divisive!
When it comes to White Power! Republicans are all about the inclusion.

I give you the party of law & order breaking federal law (Yahoo! news article):

Right-Wing Broadcaster Asks Trump Fans In NYC To Do Something Very Illegal

A right-wing broadcaster is asking Donald Trump supporters in New York to do the wrong thing.

The former president’s hush money trial got underway on Monday, and right-wing broadcaster Clay Travis tweeted on X to implore Trump fans in the Big Apple to commit a felony to help their fearless leader.

Travis suggested that any Trump supporter “who is a part of the jury pool, do everything you can to get seated on the jury and then refuse to convict as a matter of principle, dooming the case via hung jury.”

He added: “It’s the most patriotic thing you could possibly do.”

So, evidently, these idiots’ definition of patriotism is whatever helps their idol avoid consequences. To hell with the country.

I like one response on Xitter to this Travis’s xit:

Maybe if the verdict doesn’t go Trump’s way, his supporters can just bash cops with flagpoles and fire extinguishers again?

WTF? Travis is an attorney? (Wikipedia)

That would, I think, have the potential to be jury nullification. And, while I don’t understand why, I thought there’s some reason that informing a jury of jury nullification is illegal.

Calling for someone to perjure themselves is illegal, isn’t it?

Madison Cawthorn (remember him?) rear-ended a Florida state trooper today.

Before reading the article, I really hoped he was driving a car and it wasn’t a euphemism.

Dude needs a wheelchair because of a bad car accident and yet he still drives recklessly? Yeah, you can’t fix stupid.

Well, there is a fix for stupid, but murder is generally frowned upon.

Does he have children or is he still eligible for a Darwin Award?

Apparently having children does not disqualify one from winning
