Is it possible for anyone? Are Joe and Hunter Biden trading DJT stocks back and forth, charging each other progressively lower prices on each trade? Would that even work to drive down the price other people are paying?
It’s easy to drive up the price of a stock; just keep offering more and more money until people decide to take their profit by selling to you. But how does one unilaterally drive the price down? The usual way is to spread rumours of the company’s demise, but these “Hundreds of thousands” of MAGAt investors shouldn’t be believing the rumours that Trump sucks as a businessman, right?
I know it’s HuffPost, but this kind of burbling from McCarthy is just so dumb. It’s not even the “clever” BS that we’ve heard from other Republicans. The “pushback” part of the headline is probably untrue, though.
Oh, Trump would win, without a doubt.

Voting against the Ukraine bill is stupid for many reasons. Not only will it help them, it will also help the USA. The Democrats should hammer the jobs created and other economic benefits of passing the bill.
Josh Hawley was whining about “Another $60 billion for Ukraine . Not a penny for Missouri .” on X. And is getting dragged because quite a lot of that money is indeed going to Missouri (mostly to Boeing, I believe).
This is from November 2023, but it shows Missouri had received nearly $700m in funding to pay for ammunition, equipment etc made in the state.

This may have been shared before, but please tell me this isn’t a significant number of voters and that they’re wasting money here. Or perhaps I’m wrong and there really is a lot of support for Trump among LGBTQ+ conservatives?

Those who voted against this bill do not give two tiny shits for the USA. They care about pleasing an egomaniac currently sitting in a criminal court, and a Russian dictator, because they think this is the best way for them to keep their jobs and paycheck.
Plus the fact that the Democrats are for it, so we must be against it.
If Democrats passed a bill protecting dogs, Republicans would start executing puppies in the street.
But he doesn’t want his people to work for it, he wants it handed out for free, just like all that cash illegal aliens in big cities get.

He no doubt would prefer to be in control of those funds.
