Okay, so let’s introduce a bill to establish an Official Government Church, a Christian one, which deliberately disagrees with Boebert’s church on every major doctrinal question there is.
Then add a rider banning all other Christian churches, as well as seizing their assets, and turning those assets over to the New Church of the United States. With a Pope chosen from the ranks of civil servants, naturally.

I guess it depends on what you mean by “just about all”, but most sources I’m finding indicate 80-90% go over budget and/or late.
I’m reminded of an old SF story (sorry, can’t recall the title or author offhand); the gist was that a national law was passed requiring that “community standards” for the entire country would be established using a series of random drawings. The way it worked was that first a topic would be selected, and then a region or city would be selected. After some early drawings concerning relatively minor issues, there was a drawing to determine something like “standard sexual activity” and the location chosen was San Francisco. The kicker being, of course was that at the time of the story San Francisco was generally considered to be a hotbed of homosexual conduct.
As I recall, the story pretty much ended there, with the shock and dismay reactions of various groups of what this meant. Terribly un-PC, of course.
