I’m not sure that is your boss’s decision to make. By being the boss they’re forcing their political views on others.
Unless his boss says otherwise, either directly or through some kind of corporate policy, I’m pretty sure it is his boss’ decision to make.
We can debate whether it should be his decision, or whether he is making a good decision, but I don’t think it’s really questionable that it is the boss’ decision.
And unless yet another layer of boss, or corporate policy, forbids this - it is not illegal (in most states, afaik, ianal, etc)
The problem is that since political affiliation isn’t an EEOC protected class, you can’t determine that pushing a political view is creating a hostile work environment.
Now, if that right wing view involved racism, misogyny, homophobia, and so on, that’s a different story. But insisting on kooky RWNJ conspiracy shit in general is probably not gonna be actionable. You’re in a “live with it or quit” situation.
I’d agree except that the shot was just too close to being fatal. There’s no way that kid could have successfully grazed him or have been sure that he shot him nonlethally.

Serious. I don’t buy that Trump faked getting shot at because that would require him to present himself as less than omnipotent and immortal, which his ego would never allow.
Then where did the injury go? You don’t take a .223 to the ear and not leave a mark. He’s lying, he always lies. At best he got hit by a piece of glass, but I really don’t think he was injured at all. This is a guy who can’t tell the truth about anything. This is a guy that brags he “aced” a mental acuity test. He might actualy believe he was shot. Who is going to tell him different?
Most likely he was just barely grazed, or struck by a fragment of the bullet or some glass from the prompter. Considering his known aversion to the sight of blood there’s no way he would willingly make himself bleed, and I doubt he’d have the presence of mind to reach for a hidden blood pack while being shot at and tackled by the Secret Service.
