I have no idea what the maximum sentence could have been, but nine years in the state (or federal) pen should give her ample time to reflect on her actions.

We can count on this and the next one, but most non-L-w/o-P sentences only guarantee half the time in stir. If she is still an asshole in the spring of '29, she would stay in longer, but incarceration can affect people – it is meant to affect them.
I am pretty sure she knows better and would want to see the money first. And hey good for her if she’s making sure she’s getting some for herself.
